**Disclaimer** This is not fishing or pandering for compliments just something I have been thinking about.

I feel like in my social life I have been unlucky since I was an adolescent. Before I dive into the story more I will make you aware that I have plenty of friends, a great family, and a wonderful son. But-

I have had many relationships with people and have been engaged several times and yet- they always end in utter failure. Now sometimes the case has been that I was to blame (saying something stupid or whatnot- not cheating mind you- I'm a strict monogamist when I am with someone) and sometimes it the other party or both of us. But for the life of me I simply cannot make it last.

I've only broken up with 3 girls in my life.

That being said, a few of them were just plain crazy (when I met them they were not that way or else I would have booked it), but some of them were great and it just fell apart.

I was recently with someone for over 3 years (engaged- ready to be married- happy mind you) and she dropped the bomb that she had decided that she was transgender and felt that she did not want to string me along for she was not interested in men (she had always been bisexual so I guess she was hiding the transgender fact to me)

So yeah that hit hard. But as the title goes, maybe I am just unlucky.

Maybe....

XD maybe.

This is why I don't deal with this kind of situation anymore.

Everything happens for a reason.

Me and my bf were talking about marriage around Valentine's Day.... We broke up a week after because I found out he cheated on me. And just today I found out he started a relationship with that girl. Maybe we're both just unlucky

Jeez I'm sorry. That really sucks but I believe that you are much better off. We're prolly both unlucky though.

I'm not sure I would say unlucky, sounds like that's just life. I went through some real crazies before I found the Swede, and even then, our relationship is far from perfect.

Aren't you glad your ex told you they were transgender before you entered into a marriage?

Yeah I think it was best it happened beforehand but a lot of times I wish it didn't happen that way considering how close I thought we were. I guess that is what bothers me most.

I can totally understand that. And it's easier said than done when someone tells you not to dwell on it. But I hope things turn around for you.

I think you're luckier than a lot of guys.

I have a cousin who had 11 kids from different women, they tend to leave him after they have the baby for others people. He still has hope that some woman will stick around for life.

Be glad something like that doesn't happen to you, and that your numbers are low.

11 kids! My mom had 9. Only 2 have the same father. She is a train wreck though.
I think the moral of this story is everyone unlucky. I have some pretty shitty days sometimes. I try to concentrate on the wind, or whatever sounds are around me. In my short 21 years I'm learning that stressing over life isn't going to do anything. The best things will come to you and stay while the bad are only there for a pit stop.
