The story takes place in Dragon Country.
Nonoko is a newly appointed dentist and her mission is to protect the dragon, the guardian of the country, from tooth-cavity bacteria.
One day, amid increasingly fierce battles with the neighboring country, Nonoko finds on the dragon's tooth an unconscious boy soldier from the enemy country.
His name is Bell, and he has been resurrected from inside the tooth by the dragon—a supernatural phenomenon that legend says occurs before a major disaster.
As Nonoko and Bell go through a series of fierce battles, they eventually learn to accept their fate.

This fantasy adventure, created on an unprecedentedly epic scale,
will keep viewers thrilled and enraptured.

And I just found out that it's only available in selected European countries. The US isn't getting it as the licensor is Anime Limited, which serves the UK and other Eurpoean countries.

Crunchyroll announced plans to stream the Studio Khara-produced anime The Dragon Dentist, which officially kicks off today at 1:45pm Pacific Time. The special will be available to Crunchyroll members in the UK, Ireland, Finland, Sweden, Norway, Denmark and Iceland.

Episode 1

Not that I watched a lot of Attack on Titan, but it feels similar. I suppose that's down to the number of traitors and introducing decent characters with the sole purpose of killing them off.

It was worth waiting to see this in full 1080p glory. I believe it's at the halfway point, with the concluding 45 minute episode next week. Initially I thought it was a double episode because the first 20 minutes is fairly slow, and just world building, but the second half of the episode feels really rushed.

There's a plan? Honestly it feels like the writer makes it up as he goes along

Crazy show, a bit fast paced show but a good show. More Kabaneri than AoT level good but I enjoyed first episode.

I have to say that after reading the description I have absolutely no idea what the heck this anime is really about. And since I'm not in the region it's available in I guess I won't be finding out. Hope it's good for those who can watch it?

Just watched the first episode. It has a very interesting premise, and it's beautifully animated. I doubt the story would be enough to carry it for a whole series, but as a couple 45 minute specials it works very well. It has one of those out there premises that I don't think would work as anything other than anime.
