Does anyone else have a hard time watching shows on this website? The frame rate starts good but then gets choppier and choppier until its unbearable to watch. I always watch on 480p but I've tried bumping it down to SD, which doesn't seem to work. I haven't found a way to fix that besides refreshing, but it is never a permanent fix and it only happens here. This website seems to barely run on my computer but other websites work just fine. Anyone know a fix or should I just drop the site because this is really annoying.

It's the flash player.

If you're on Windows 10, use the Windows app. Rokus and other streaming devices apparently don't have the problem.

Yea. Get a tablet, PS vita, PS3-4

I have a laptop capable of watching crisp 1080p but good luck trying to do it without hiccups. I only ever watch episodes on my tablet now, too much bullshit.

I've been having the same playback issues for a week now. It started out mainly on older episodes - I was focused on work for a month and unable to find time to watch my shows. When I went to watch episodes from several weeks ago, the slow loading and choppy video made them unwatchable. In the past day or two, the video on the newer releases have begun to stutter and skip. It seems to be expanding more and more...

I submitted a report, got the "Are You Tried Doing These Thing" email. Not much help.

I'm thinking they may be focusing on migrating as many people as possible to the much-vaunted Win10 app. I don't have Win10, don't want Win10, so Crunchyroll may be leaving me behind as a viewer.

It sounds like this is an issue with compatibility then? They must be upgrading to the point where those of us on different formats can't keep up. I definitely don't have the cash to drop on a tablet or PS4 just to watch crunchyroll on, I'd rather just watch my shows on different websites if that's what I have to do to fix it. I don't have or want Win 10 either, so I'm with you on that Grrnfrl. We're not going to bow down to computer fascism lol. I really like crunchyroll's format which is why I choose it over other sites but the choppy playback is not worth it, and I'm not going to drop hundreds of bucks just to make it compatible again.

I've had good luck with my Roku stick -- they're pretty inexpensive.
