I'm referencing this from the film Eternal Sunshine Of The Spotless Mind.
If you could have something painful erased from your memories, would you?

Yes, why?
No, Why?

Wouldn't erase a thing. Those memories, good and bad, have shaped who I am and taught me things I'd otherwise not have learned.

Why would I erase what I've learned from? It's shaped who I am. No erasing necessary.

Nope. Even through the darkest of times there was something to be learned from these memories. Also being an amnesiac doesn't sound very fun. Besides, I forget a lot of things regardless. I don't have good memory

I would erase my memories of what my personality was like as a child, so I could stop cringing at myself any time I think about it.

I wouldn't erase any of my memories. Even bad ones serve to shape how you grow.

I'm the type of person to hold a lot of grudges and is regretful of a lot of things so yes there are certain memories I'd like to erase

Nah, everything I've ever done in my life has shaped me into the person I am now. If I were to erase my bad memories I'd be erasing/running away from parts of myself. I'll keep my memories.
