Although that would be stretching it i guess. I tried this on a another computer who needs it fixed, because it lagged and had problems when upgrading from OS to Windows 10, so i did a clean install of Windows 10 on it.

But i tried it actually. Its no suprise that people who upgraded from Windows 8 or 7 will likely have some problems. But microsoft actually released ISO file that you can add to USB or burn to a DVD plate, all you need is basically a legit activation key, or well the one that you used when you upgraded so you just gotta check if its legit before doing it. And now you can basically format your and install a clean up of Windows 10, deleting everything that might've sturred up from the upgrade.

Either way i dont notice too much, maybe a little but it still sorta lags whenever i click or go here and there. I start to suspect the reason is because its basically trying to make OS more phone friendly, aka APPS. Apps on everything more or less, before in Windows 7 they were essentially programs, in Windows 8 they turned into apps, but even then it ran good even if many hated the layout.

So i am just wondering if you have the same problem because i sorta feel i have to agree now?
And yes i installed all the updates and drivers, it still doesn't change hugely just a little bit on performance.

I watched this rant video ages ago, a frustrated person. I feel him :O. I am sorta glad i downgraded to Windows 7 again more or less.

Also its not just me. I searched up Windows 10 lag, and it turns out many others have basically the same problem as i have. It works but its not good?

No problems here. The thing is the lag you're getting, is it only videos and flash based? You may just need to uninstall and reinstall an updated video driver along with flash player.

I have a powerhouse PC and there has never been any shred of lag. Maybe once or twice a month there will be a time where explorer.exe crashes and restarts itself for no apparent reason, but that's it. It's smooth sailing for me, the OS feels good.

That doesn't seem to be the only problem. Its in general lagging when i click on stuff etc, it feels like a BETA version than a finished product to be frank.

Sounds like it's stuttering. I would still suggest uninstalling and reinstalling your video driver. I mean it could very well be the Windows 10 install itself but you did a clean install so it doesn't make sense unless if it's a hard-drive issue.

Did all your other drivers detect and install normally? If you hit windows key+pause break and go into Device Manager are there no problems showing in there?

A lot of these are just shots in the dark but, it sounds like a driver issue to me.

I use Windows 10 on my laptop with no worries, I still prefer 8.1 surprisingly though on my main desktop. Also apps = applications = programs.

I agree with AsuraSushi, sounds like a driver issue. Check that everything is up to date and make sure your parts are all clean and if worst comes to worst you may have to check if its a hardware issue. If so just find out what's not working and replace said part, GPU, CPU, etc.

I have considered to update the BIOS. But i honestly dont think it would make much of a difference. I have searched for tips on how to improve it but it doesnt seem like it helps.
