Ok, tips:

If you put a little oil in boiling water it will stop the water from boiling over the pot.

If you put 2 quarts instead of 2 cups of water into a cake batter, no amount of time or baking at a lower setting will make it ok.

When it says egg whites for merengue it means it. If there is even a little yolk in the mix, it won't get spiky or have the right stiffness.

PorkCutlet

cut away the bones and the fat if you want to,
add some butter in the fryingpan, melt it and adjust the
temperature too middle warmth and while frying the meat,
just add some salt and whitepeppar to the sides...
Cut a bite of the meat sometimes to see if it's well done.
When ready, put it on a sandwich with some salad and dressing

ummm try your best to put tea into tea bags (unless if you want to read someone's fortune with it.....) and first boil the water...you can adjust the taste and people won't have to eat tea leaves when drinking it

If your cookies are too tough . . .

You may have used too much flour or a flour with too high of a protein content. Unless you want a chewy cookie, do not use bread flour. Check your measurements--the cookies may not have enough fat or the amount of sugar may be wrong.

does any one know how to make proper okonomiyaki? i tried once it it wasnt that good. and still have a whole bottle of okonomiyaki sauce left!

i wish i knew how to make okonomiyaki ^^" really wanna try some

i've got a bunch of recipes from my family's website ^^ so here's a few:

Homemade Waffles: 1 3/4 c all purpose flour 3t baking powder dash salt (just a pinch) (For an extra surprise you can add a teaspoon of nutmeg or cinnamon to the dry ingredients) Stir the dry ingredients together. 1 3/4 c milk 3 egg yolks 1/2 c vegetable oil 3 t vanilla Whisk egg yolks then add the other liquids. Mix the liqids together with the dry ingredients. In another bowl beat the 3 egg whites until soft peaks form. Fold the egg whites into the batter. You should turn your waffle iron on first and spray it with Pam (Butter flavor) This recipe makes 3 of the large 4 square iron waffles or 6 of the smaller round waffles. Serve with your favorite butter or margarine and syrup. Enjoy!
------------------------
Teriyaki Chicken Ingrediants: Soy Sauce 3 cups, water 1 1/2 cups, sake(or white wine)1cup, cloves of garlic 3, diced scallion 1/2 cup, slices on onions 1, sugar 1/4 cup, diced ginger 3 tblspn, slices of carrots 2, cubed potatoes 3, chicken pieces enough to cover and marinate overnight in refrigerator. Then grill or bake with a little sauce(in aluminum foil) or cook in sauce pan until done.
-----------------------

Veggie Pizza: 1-12oz can Pillsbury Crescent Rolls, 1-8oz cream cheese(softened), 3/4 cup Mayo or Miracle Whip, 1/2 tsp seasoned salt, 1 tsp dill weed and very finely chopped broccoli, carrots, green onions and black olives. Unroll the cresent dough laying them flat on an ungreased cookie sheet(11 X 7), pressing the seams together. Bake until golden brown and let cool completely. Mix the cream cheese, mayo, seasoned salt and dill weed until smooth, then spread over crust. Sprinkle the chopped veggies evenly over the top then press into the spread. You can use wax paper to press the veggies into the spread if you like. Refridgerate for about 2 hours or overnight.
-----------------------
Sweet Potato Pone: 2-1/2 pounds sweet potatoes, 1/4 cup melted butter, 2 eggs, 1/4 cup dark brown sugar, firmly packed, 1/2 cup milk, 1-1/2 tbls vanilla extract, 1/2 tsp salt, 1/2 tsp cinnamon, 1/4 tsp nutmeg, 1/8 tsp cloves, 1 tsp grated orange peel, not including the white pith. Preheat oven to 375. Cook the potatoes unpeeled until tender. Peel and mash the potatoes, then stir in melted butter. In a bowl, beat the eggs, add sugar and beat thoroughly. Add milk, vanilla, salt, cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves and orange peel. Beat until well blended. Stir into mashed sweet potatoes, then mix until well blended. Place the mixture into a buttetred 1-1/2 baking dish. I use an aluminum pan. Cover with foil and bake for 50 minutes. Uncover and add large marshmallows then bake till marshmallows are browned. Makes 6-8 serving.

hope this helps :3
