Let me know if a thread like this one exist or not.
Thanks a bunches.

So, would you like to go to a Garage sale and/or a Flea Market? Have you ever been to one? What was it like for you?
Would you ever go back again?

Enjoy!!!

Yes, I have been to both

Never bought anything from a garage sale or a flea market
Would I go back? Only if I was forced to

I rarely go to any flea markets, but I go to garage sales all the time. I actually had one a few days ago, and I'm going to have one next week. Actually the town I live in, has a town wide garage sale every year. Anyways, I actually bought an incredibly rare game called 'Kuon' a few weeks ago, for a few dollars. I was so proud!

I'm not a fan of either. While we do have a garage sale every year or so, I hate actually going to them.

I realize that I may seem rather spoiled about this, but I prefer newer items, not something somebody else has used/owned before

I deal in vintage and antique jewelry, clothing and accessories, and some of the best buys I've gotten were from flea markets and garage sales. In facts, my heart flutters just thinking about it. But I'm weird like that.

I like going to swap meets. There you can either get some nice hand crafted stuff from locals, or some nice stolen stuff at huge discounts!

No.
I use eBay to sell my trash. I just sold a $150 used camera for $130, proud of myself.

Flee markets are the shit! (the good shit ). Usually find something good for cheap. I live in Southern CA, theres a few of them in near were I live. There are plenty of the common stuff you would guess people sell, but I kid you not, theres always something thats like "NO WAY? I cant believe I found this here ". Theres plenty of people that don't know what they're selling and if you haggle enough you can get it for pretty cheap . I love these places. I used to just burn a J, put on glasses, hop on the bicycle, and head down the local one and just look around. Fun times.

we have a local flea market that's huge even though we aren't a big town. well it's not as big it used to be but anyway you can get any junk in the world there haha

thrift shops too man... those are the places to go

They're a lot of fun when you're younger either looking for something reasonable or eclectic. However, as you age and matriculate along life's highway you reach a point in life where as material goods go you have more than enough "stuff" and there comes a time when you just have to let it go. I used to think people who claimed that were full of shit but I have fallen lockstep into their earlier predictions re downsizing in those golden years.
