So you just endure the pain?

I inflict pain on the opposite side of the original pain to balance it out.

The only time I have used pain killers as an adult was when I had a bout of pancreatitis and had to go to hospital. I can't tell you what type it was though as the doctor gave it to me.

Other than that I tend to ignore pain.

I discovered at a young age that if I imagined building a wall inside my head, the pain would normally go away. It was entirely self taught but I am guessing that the trick uses similar principles to the mindfulness technique, which has been shown in many scientific trials to reduce pain. It takes concentration though, so can be difficult to establish in extreme cases, like the pancreatitis.

Advil does the trick for me. Although recently I've used up my Advil stock so I've resorted to Ibuprofen, which works just as good.

as of now I don't do hard core painkillers but I do goodies head-ache powder if I am extremely suffering; mainly cause pain killers are far too addictive

The only thing that can "kill pain" (Hide it) is narcotics that numbs the nerves. Aka Hydrocodone, Oxy, Roxy, Morphine.

Everything else is just a pretender and mainly placebo lmao(in my opinion). I do realize they have their uses in certain situations but for strictly pain killing you're better off taking a fucking sugar pill.

Also mandatory...

Cannabis for pain relief is actually effective. Though it doesn't take the same method of action to numb your nerves as opiates do. It more or else changes the way our brains perceive the pain. In the way that the pain is no longer at the forefront of our experience and consciousness. It more or less is sent to the back burner and put out of "mind" out of "body" so to speak. The pain is still there but it's no longer unbearable/overwhelming to the point where people cannot function normally because of it.
