I am a full time student who commutes to and from the colleges I attend, the school I am taking more units at does not have classes for the major I am doing reason why I attend two schools one is 15miles away while the other is 41 miles away. Working a part time job 20hr week, I help my elderly parents out when I can, mainly with picking up my foster sister from school, getting grocery's for them, and other household related stuff. I set aside 2 hours for homework a day, an 70mins for exercise because I work in an office and it is not that very active of a job. I cook my own meals.

To alleviate the stress that builds up every day, and I understand my job is not a full time job but working in the mental health industry it is very stressful, I watch anime and I don't plan on stopping. social life be damned if someone asks me to stop watching anime. I would rather watch anime or read a manga then go out and waste time and money at a bar/restaurant/club or whatever.

This is me, but with Kdramas & Jdramas. (lol) I don't watch as much animes like I did when I was younger. But when I do, I usually try to watch 1 ep each day during lunch times at work. Most of the time, I push it on the weekends or holidays. Though, sometimes it's a bit hard for me because I'm always doing something else on weekends & holidays.

I dont like to be social so that saves me a lot of time, other than that i work more or less full time, get home around 4ish then watch anime/play games until i go to bed. Don't have GF/wife or anything like that (don't care to have one) so i have a lot of time to do whatever i want.

Well...Im a professionnal with 2 kids, third on his or her way. I work 40 hours per week or more, but I still Watch my anime when everyone is asleep. I manage to keep gaming a little bit, but its more a matter of time managing than anything else.

everyone has their hobby. The key is just balance. Still, I cant isolate myself and Watch an entire serie in one day...or make WOW raid anymore ^^

Well I wake up at 5am ,
leave for work at 6 am .
In traffic for about 30 minutes
and in the last 10 minute of the ride , I listen to Kuroku no basket music to get me pump up My line of work can be stressful, so I need to charge up
No anime in my mind for the next 10 hours except for some rare moments I talk with co worker who aske me about my anime or my cosplay or conventions during break time
Then I go home, in traffic for 45 min to an hour , listening to more Kuroko no Basket music or check out some silly anime on CR via my phone at my dashboard .It makes the ride shorter.
I also go to the gym when I can and listen to more sports anime music while cycling.
I make dinner for hubby. Take care of my doggies and then go to bed around 930 , start watching my favorite anime to make me sleep while hubby is not home yet.
and the day start all over again.
although I do feel I am getting old when it comes to going to conventions but not to watching anime that I like. but I only get to watch anime before going to bed or before getting up in am during off days.
I also read manga here an there before going to sleep.
So for me , watching anime or reading is to relax and my hobby is making cosplay stuff plus all my other hobbies.

I use to watch a lot more then I do now, I would try and watch any and every series I felt I would be remotely interested. Each season I hope is the one to have that once in every other year great anime and each season I become a little bit more disappointed.

I'm 25, grew up with cartoons and by the time I hit 10 Toonami was in full swing. I was there for tit all. Tench Muyo, Outlaw Star, Trigun and I loved it. I never really grew out of it.

When I was growing up I could watch anything and love it but after awhile my expectation's raised and I was always left feeling disappointed. I've seen several good anime but I have seen very few that left me impressed (mainly Steins;Gate and Clannad Afterstory). I really don't want to come off as elitist maybe its the nostalgia, maybe it was the fact that when I did encounter a new anime it was a special event but anime just doesn't seem to have the appeal that it use too.

In the past 15 years anime has (at least in my opinion) transitioned from story telling to essentially merchandises selling. Most anime just seem like its used as a long ad to sell you products you see (figures, wall scrolls, art box, play cards, etc) vs the actually anime.

If you're interested in something you'd somehow make time for it, trust me.

It's like anything else. How do you do anything besides work and chores? Same thing.

When wife is busy on Facebook / Youtube / whatevers it's my time to game and / or watch anime / surf the web too

I try to balance it by having less of it and avoiding any 3 million episodes in any one anime option. Watched Ranma 1/2, all of it, and that was enough to know I didn't want to do that again. Of course, I did watch all of Galaxy Express 999. Normally, I'm looking for less than 30 episodes per anime.

I currently don't have a job, unfortunately.

When I did, I usually jogged after work, and either played video games or watch anime with the rest of my free time. If I have to go do some errands, then I would do that instead. I normally only hang out with friends, cousins etc... on the weekends. Right now, I have a bunch of free time, but hopefully I'll get hired soon. : /

I found as I got older and have a kid and stuff that im still able to watch anime, however im no longer able to binge on it. Eventually you find a way of just catching an episode here and there when ever you have some free time.

I don't have the time to watch as much as I did in the past anymore, so I usually put aside a night or two during the week or weekends as anime watching time. I have a small backlog, but everytime I want to watch something, something usually comes up that needs my attention asap.

If I'm busy, I can sometimes squeeze in an our or two of anime a day. I may only watch a few times a month. I may go years without playing games, or months without anime. I'm fine with it like that. Prior to adulthood, I didn't have the luxury of indulging in anime, manga, and video games often, anyway, and I make sure to remain as content without as I can.

Wake up. Coffee. Tea. Shower. Traffic. Work. Traffic. Home. ANIME!

That sums it up pretty well, actually. Apart from that I just have friends who are also into the hobby, so my social life and my anime hobby don't come into conflict with one another.

I tell people who watch regular TV that look down on anime that they too watch forms of anime. Special effects in movies, shows, or commercials, even digitally enhancing an image is like "Anime Gentle Mode".

Don't watch much if any, "Mainstream" tv. Have a limited social life (one club). Don't watch more than about an hour of anime an evening. Sometimes less.
