Is it me. OR EVERY ANIME THAT IS FREAKING AWESOME IS ONLY 1 SEASON... Like i was watching a good anime, loved it... i go check for a second season... nothing!(not surprised) i go check for manga, NOTHING! wow..

Well i know people will be like... " it's hard to make an anime" or "It takes time" But to be honest i asked so many anime artists, and about 3 of them said.... The publishing company stopped them "too broke" and i think that is stupid, so i asked my brother a 20 year anime fan, and he said the same thing, he said the anime publishing company's think having a second season is too much... well for me it's bull, because i think having a second season is like having a new chapter, a new page, a new start! but i know what people will say..

What does this have to do about second seasons? and anime?!

it dues noot relate to any animu, am just sad ;-; i need second seasons :C ;0;

My last comment google typed the opposite for me -_- gr, what I was trying to say XD was I think people usually put off or "don't have or write" a second season or continuation because they mainly need the money -cough cough - attack on titan. If you keep fans on the edge but not for too long your profits will blow up
Sorry its a money game lol

Some used up all they had for the good content they created, as good stuff takes time and more money (unless they get it by other ways).
While companies most likely don't give those creating more seasons any time to produce anything worth while (or short lived) to sell.. sell and sell.

No.

Actually, they are. A lot of them are, anyway. The ones that cover exactly a book and a half of a long series? Yeah, those are to get people to buy the books.

Anime is incredibly expensive to make and makes very little profit. The producers pay to have it made (which is ridiculously expensive even even the animators get payed very little), they pay to have it broadcast on TV - yes, you read that right, the producers rent airtime for the TV broadcast. They don't earn money from that. They earn money from Japanese disc sales, merchandise licensing, and international licensing, but not nearly enough to cover what they spent on the anime.

A lot of times, one of the groups that put money into the show will be the publishers of the source material. They fund the show hoping that it will get enough people to buy the source material - and find out about their other titles through that - that they make that money back. If they do, maybe they'll fund a second season, if they feel like it.

Obviously, the exception to this is original anime, which has to make the money back through toy sales. That's why you see so much of this from Bandai/Sunrise. Bandai is a toymaker. They make Gundam models and Figuarts figures.

You can't expect them to put money into a show if they don't think they're going to make it back. Whether you like it or not, no one owes you a second season. If you can't read Japanese and the source material doesn't get translated, that sucks for you, but that's that. Learn Japanese. It really isn't that hard, especially if you're exposed to so much of it through anime.

You say that like everyone has the time and linguistic skills to learn one of the harder languages in the world.
