Funi goes uncensored? I cancelled because Tokyo Ghoul and Highschool DxD were still censored months after the uncensored blu-ray were released.

I have a feeling that Crunchyroll is going to be acquired by FUN. They don't like sharing there cookies. :/

I know this is probably a dumb question, but, does this mean I can use my CR sub to get into Funi or do I have to sign up for an account with them to get their content?

What's the point of a partnership if they keep it exclusive for the people of USA?

My only question here is what the hell are this license restrictions BS? Sometimes i get so frustrated for not being able to watch anime i find here in CR, and since all the animes arecoming here from the US, i will probably not be able to watch them. Many people from Latin America would gladly pay Premium or Premium Plus to see the anyme they want if this BS licenses were not in place?
What is Crunchyroll going to to regarding that matter???

I know this may be a question for funimation but I bought both services because of the different animes you guys would have I only used funimation for the subbed animes not dubbed now they are saying all sub will be gone I paid for a year of funimation anyone know how this would be sorted out?

this is listed under their facts
"if you're currently a SubPass subscriber, you will not be charged for your subscription after today and you will have 60 days of upgraded access to FunimationNow Premium."

I may not be charged for my sub after today but I was already charged since I paid in full i think I still have till 01-31-2017 that I paid for.

You'd think, and I sure hope so; I was majorly disappointed when CR didn't get it from the beginning.

Great for new shows i guess, but what about all the old stuff that's already on FUNI's site? Can we watch EVERYTHING that was subbed here? or do i still have to pretend their site doesn't exist?

so, not only did you get my favorite show of the 90s (BEBOP!)

you got my favorite show of the last decade (PSYCHO PAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAASS!)
(please read that the way Al Bundy yells Psycho Dad)

hopefully you guys bring over Concrete Revolutio and everyone can give it another chance/see it since they couldn't the first time around

Gotta say, this is definitely the biggest anime news of 2016, possibly in a decade. This will only be a net positive for anime fans, and possibly, alongside Netflix & Amazon's anime expansion plans, the beginning of a new millennium for the anime universe. Whatever this means in the future, its still a heck of a time to be an anime fan.

What will this mean going forward in regard to future seasons? Will CrunchyRoll's position in all of this be solely acquiring new anime titles for subbing while Funi only works on dubbing said titles?

So, are we going to get excluded from your services if we are not in USA like what Funimation does? That was the main reason I chose to discontinue my Funimation subscription, I had to use proxies that slowed down the videos too much.

I'm a current US Funimation subscriber. What will happen to my subscription?

We will be contacting each of our subscribers by email, but here's a basic overview:

If you're currently an All-AccessPass subscriber, your account will be automatically converted to FunimationNow Premium and your next bill will reflect the new pricing.

If you're currently a SubPass subscriber, you will not be charged for your subscription after today and you will have 60 days of upgraded access to FunimationNow Premium.

Wait, as a subpass subscriber that is paid up until May 2017, does this mean I get a partial refund after my 60 days of upgraded access expires?

Doesn't affect much me much when it comes to CrunchyRoll, but funimation is going to give me a headache.

So I want to be clear on something. Is Crunchyroll going to be the place to watch SUBBED anime, and Funimation the place to watch DUBBED anime? Because if that's the case, I'll cancel my Funi subscription. I cannot tolerate watching anime in English.... >.>
