I can't tell if this is happening because of the video buffering or if my wireless internet at state college is slow, but I did notice it does keep doing this over and over again on a couple of shows at random times (some days it works, others it's a pain).

Currently I'm trying to watch WATAMOTE and it keeps freezing after about a minute. The timecode marker resets to the beginning but the video shows no signs of buffering or loading or reseting. It just freezes in place, even on SD. After reloading the page it usually goes back to around the spot where it left off in the video, plays for less than a minute, then freezes again.

I'm sure this is similar to most of the other problems people have been having as of recently, am I wrong?

Either way, this needs to be fixed ASAP!

Have you tried disabling hardware acceleration in browser settings? /forumtopic-959849/show-freezes-every-couple-minutes-in-chrome-only?pg=1#54650635

It seems to be the CR player itself. I tried different connections and browsers with the same result. The Chrome extension mentioned by asharka seems to work. Only problem is since you're replacing the CR player with another one the Queue doesn't update the show as played after you watch it.

Watching on Google Chrome, and freezing every 45 seconds of the shows. Looks to be an error with the site and not our computers or internet so that's a plus, I'm sure they'll have it fixed up in no time.

I've considered it, but I don't wanna mess up any other functions on my computer or my browser that could benefit from hardware acceleration... but I'm not exactly sure what hardware acceleration does to begin with...

It would only affect that specific the specific browser. Hardware acceleration just lets you offload some processing on GPU, rather than using only the CPU.

FWIW, I hit the issue last night with Chrome and disabling h/w acceleration did nothing for the problem. Given the error message quoted by the original poster it sounds like a part of Crunchyroll's CDN went down last night.

I have the same issue watching DB Super. I have a good internet connection (around 50 Mbps) and I watch CR on my Android TV with ethernet connection so it is stable. But the video are entering buffering mode very very often. I think I spend more time watching the buffer working that watching the anime.
The issue is not only with DB Super but also with other anime. It is of course very very annoying.
And I don't see anywhere how to contact CR and not sure they read twiter
