Also, did I make you salty in a gaming forum somewhere, or something? I forget.

Just posting this very interesting experiment shows a new side to your character that I may not have noticed from the previous posts I may have read.

As a fellow depressive I can hope that you understand that the internet is not the best forum for honest interaction. Without a human interaction many signals give to each other are lost when typing lines of letters in a box. Things can be taken the wrong way quite easily. Good luck and let us know of your findings.

I'm under the opinion and view that even if one changes how they act view life and become less depressed those who have already judged someone and seen them as depressed and subsequently not worth the time will not change there mind even if the person becomes someone they would usually see as worth the time speaking to.

It doesn't actually matter. Most people are stupid, and if stupid people don't like you, nobody cares anyway because they're stupid.

Well I think the people who are going to judge you because of your past instead of how you interact with them are not worth having around, are they?

Surely it's quality over quantity when it comes to friends. I know what you mean about caring what others think, everyone does that (even if they swear they don't care), but really you shouldn't feel pressured to hide the things you struggle with because some people are intolerant, there are plenty of people who aren't and will be your friend regardless.

True the only reason I care is the person who judges me badly is a good friends friend and I want to be on good terms with them :(

In the past I have acted in ways that have lead them to have a negative opinion on me and I want to change that but I don't understand people well which has always been my problem.

Well the fact that you want to make an effort to correct your past mistakes or behaviour says a lot about you, and I'm sure the person in question will appreciate that effort. Sometimes mistakes can't be fixed instantly but will take some time to put right, if you're willing to spend the time fixing or giving people a new opinion of you then I'm sure everything will work out fine.

Are you doing it on purpose?

No, it's generally the rule of the Internet that People Think Like They Type.

So the plan is to essentially disguise yourself and not act like yourself to see if people treat you differently?

I'm not sure this a question that requires experimentation to answer. -.-

I don't even pay attention to who I talk to about 50% of the time how it is. Unless I debate with you often then I probably don't even remember what I have said to you before. So don't expect any change from me.
