People need an escape route sometimes or playing with other people will make you better I guess.

I apologize for somewhat regurgitating what i said before but...

The biggest thing is just finding something new you're into that you can relate to others with and sometimes that involves leaving your comfort zone. I mean don't get me wrong there's a lot of stuff i can't really talk about or enjoy with the general populace either but it's not about filtering everyone out that doesn't share your current interests or feeling bad because you can't open up about them. You need to find new stimulus in new interests to get you that endorphin boost.

You never know, the next thing you find could become the new passion that overshadows all the sad feelings you're currently experiencing. Like we've mentioned before, boardgaming, group trivia, the myriad of volunteer work you can do. You just need to find that new drive in life, that new center of focus.

At the very least look at it this way, you want to get used to not feeling lonely. Bad feelings perpetuate themselves if left unchecked, treat yourself to some of the goodness life has to offer

I do see a psychiatrist and i have been alone all my life with but one real friend who is always busy so.... aside from that i only have friends who i feel Alien around even around my own family i feel alienated and alone.

Also i have talked to people in my town and gone out of my way to communicate they shut me out or get angry at me or dislike my sense of humour and what i find fun.

I'm all for taking advice however going outside and talking to people is something i wish i could do but i have tried all my life in my small town and well its never worked.

People here just want to talk about sports and farming i feel completely alien around them.

I have tried alot of the advice here and it's never worked some of it i have yet to try and im going to give it a try.

Tried keeping my mind off things and doing what i enjoy (Playing games) but that makes me feel more lonely and i usually just end up eating or sleeping to delay the feeling for a while

I haven't shut anyone down here i think alot of the advice here is good advice sadly most of it i have tried

Ehhhh.. Fair enough, I guess. It just irks me when people have too many excuses or are way negative.
For me, all I really have to do is to think about how there's always gonna be someone who has it way worse than I do and I stop being so negative.

Trust me when I say this, Rinrin is right. You have it a lot better than most people, including myself. You'll be fine.

Even if you have it better then others it can still be bad.

I dislike the whole "others have it worse" way of thinking but you may be right.

Sadly no mentally which is worse since atleast Physical disabilities can be helped to an extent and eventually fixed.

You would be sadly mistaken. Muscular Dystrophy, which I'm still going through the early stages of, is an un-treatable and incurable disease that slowly eats away your muscles to the point you can't do anything by yourself anymore. I bet you can lift a glass of water, right? I can't even do a simple task like that, let alone lift my arms anymore. You have it a lot better than most people. Whatever you have going mentally is minuscule compared to people in my shoes and I'm still hanging in there.

The Brain cannot be repaired Muscular Dystrophy is horrible and it must be 100x harder to cope with however it will eventually in the long run be something that can be cured which is something that can never happen to the brain.

I have it better then alot of people yes but i also have it worse then alot of people also.

I'm not well off in life compared to most my age and im going to be living at home till i get government payments to live on my own and im pretty much unlikely to get a job let alone a good one.

Sure i don't have it as bad as you but that doesn't mean that i don't have it bad.

My life isn't good not that i don't enjoy it that is ....anyhow i only wanted tips as this lonliness is crippling and last time it got passed this i became suicidal so i feel it best to try to find a solution

And yet, we haven't even gotten close to a cure over several decades now. Saying something eventually will happen isn't very plausible in my opinion.

Then why not focus on the things that you can do?

Refer to my earlier comment, try focusing on the more positive things in life. Like the fact that you're not me?

Well, I've given a few tips as best I can. It's up to you to take that first step. I wish you the best of luck, stay strong.

If playing normal video games makes you more lonely. maybe try an MMO? I personally don't like MMO's anymore but I used to play them for years. Instead of actually playing the game I would just stand around and chat with people. for example, Runescape is a completely horrible game but I made some really good friends on there and a lot of fun memories, and I even keep contact with some of them to this day:)

MMO's are pretty good for that though because no matter what time it is, someone from some part of the world will be awake (unless you pick a dead game) and you can chat with them.

And if you absolutely can't stand being on any game maybe try Skype or something. I am not exactly sure how you will find people to Skype with but you can figure it out lol.

If you are worried about not being able to make friends, you shouldn't, its a lot easier than you think. just be friendly and ask

Good luck!
