On the Wii U app (which works correctly), clicking up/down arrow shows the progress bar (time left, etc.). Clicking up/down again makes the progress bar go away.

However, on the PS3 app, clicking up/down while the progress bar is already visible doesn't make it go away. This means that there is no way to get the bar to go away besides waiting.

Have you tried using the circle button to dismiss the progress bar, or does this take you back to the previous page?

I just double checked, and clicking the circle button always exits the video.

Sorry, triangle? I always get those mixed up since I don't normally use the PS for media playback.

It looks like triangle does work. It's a bit weird that the up/down doesn't work consistently between devices, but a work around is good to have.
