I don't think positive thinking creates positive situations; it just helps you see negative situations in a more positive light.

this Law of Attraction is similar to the Golden Rule, you treat others positively then expect others will treat you positively too.... or you treat others negatively then expect others will treat you negatively too... so i think its nothing new lol.. although its interesting to see the placebo effect and nocebo effect relates to this Law of Attraction

I don't think mere positive thinking will cause good things to happen. Our moods cause us to care more about certain things or to notice things we didn't notice before, but if we don't act on our moods/feelings, nothing changes. Our feelings, by themselves, don't have power over anything. We are more inclined to behave in certain ways, but that's about it.
