Maybe Riding Bean.. literally takes place in Chicago. Hastily drawn but they even got some of the architecture right. And the cars- including an awesome Shelby GT Mustang.

Some of those old cop shows like AD Police files. Switch them to the English dub and you can barely tell Japan had anything to do with it.

Space Dandy, no question about it, baby! What makes this show so American are all the references to American culture from the sitcoms to John Travolta. There was even an episode made about Johnny Yong Bosch. That goes to show that this was made for America.
