I'm a short term memory kind of guy (only on topics not relating to my major/field of interest). I'd usually just spend the previous 1- 2 nights studying, then go and ace the tests (I've been doing this for my classes not related to my major, and my GPA is a 3.9/4.0)

Of course, if it were a test relating to my major, you can bet I'm spending the previous weekend and weekdays leading up to the test studying until I know the material well

If I don't know it by then, I'm probably screwed regardless.

This is especially true of the stuff I do now and the way tests work. I'm a mechanical engineering student and most exams let us have notes/our book. So formula and constants mean less than using them.If I've been paying attention and doing the homework, I should have that figured out already.

It kind of sucks at finals because 75% is frantically studying and I'm just playing video-games. Then I review for a few hours the day before and still get an A. But just sitting there, watching the panic makes me so anxious.

I would be studying, but I'll make sure to get enough sleep as well. After all, I generally am someone who uses studying to squeeze the last bit of knowledge rather than to try and learn everything.

-Study for an hour...
-Regret not starting earlier...
-Search for methods on studying for a test the day/night before...
-cry in a corner because studying is hard....

Of course I'll study and do my homework, what's the point of studying if you don't learn anything?

If you're leaving your studying till the night before you're probably going to have a bad time. Try taking notes and reading them when you get home from your school. Dedicate at least 15 minutes to a subject every night.

I'd go to bed at 10 like I always do and study in the morning.

Stay up late procrastinating and getting a bit of studying in, and then cramming the rest of the material in on the morning of/on the commute to class.
