i don't like dubs, but it seems that the dub is the only option for shows on Apple TV and iPhone. I'm trying to watch "Your Lie in April" on Apple TV. It only plays it dubbed and I can't find a way to change it. I try my iPhone thinking I can stream it too the Apple TV, same issue, dubbed and can't change it. Is there a way to change from dub to sub on Apple products that I just am missing?

Crunchyroll usually organizes dubs and subs as if they are separate seasons. This is the case with Your Lie in April. It's treating the dub as the first season, so that's why it's giving that to you first by default. What's confusing on the iOS App is that when you go to the show it does have both but they are both labeled as "Season 1." Click the little arrow where it says "Season 1" and choose the other "Season 1" -- that should toggle you between the dub and the sub. If you start watching the sub version and put it in your queue and you then choose it from the queue to watch, it should then keep advancing you from the sub season and should not bounce you back to the dub.

So that was it? I feel like I should have been able to figure that out, but at the same time I have no idea how I could have figured that out without help. Thanks so much. That fixed the problem!

I had trouble figuring it out even though I knew CR handled dubs that way and had gone to the show page on the website to confirm they'd done that for Your Lie in April.

Once I went to the app though, I was thoroughly confused. At first I thought there was a bug, because it really did seem to be showing only one set and there seemed to be no way to get to the other. But, when I looked more closely I did see it was listing 44 episodes, so I just started clicking things and once I did that, it was clear that there were two "Season 1" choices and it wasn't just a weird UI. I had already watched the sub, so when I clicked the other Season 1 it showed me episodes marked as watched, which made it obvious that there really were two Season 1s -- as I could see one that was unwatched (which I now know is the dub) and one that was watched (the sub).

I think I'll submit a report about this. Based on what I'm seeing for the One Piece labeling (where in addition to Seasons there are specials that have their own specially labeled sections) It seems it should be easy to fix by labeling one "Season 1 (sub)" and the other "Season 1 (dub)".
