I was born with scoliosis and it got like significantly worse at a rapid rate when I played football in high school. Had to have a spinal fusion the entire length of my spine. Pretty gnarly scar and stainless steel to show for it.

Doesn't really count because I was born like that tho.

Worst injury was a broken leg at 14 years old that revealed I had an assist on the bone that weakens it.

Forced me to quit Gymnastic

Though I wouldn't be an Otaku if it was not for this accident. so i dont mind

I had and still have a torn ligament in my right shoulder. It's not totally torn, but it's torn enough that I had to stop playing baseball during high school cause I couldn't throw anymore. Still can't. They won't do surgery on it unless it gets worse. I should just do something to totally tare it lol.

The one and only "real" injury I've had is shin splints, which I got this year because of too much football -.-

Edit- oh, and I got a slight 2nd degree burn on my face from the damned sun..

This stuff... relatively obscure product, but incredibly effective at managing the pain of shin splints. Just make sure you wash your hands about 10 times after applying. You don't want to touch any sensitive areas with even a hint of this stuff still on your hands. I learned that the hard way.

Ahhw, thank you for the tip! The pain is so annoying after practice or a long day... Though I don't think we have this product, we might have something similar ^.^ Haha, it's like when I cooked with chili and used my bare hands.. not gonna do that again xD

I've had my fair share of injuries, but hands down the most painful experience was having second degree burns on my lower legs that became infected. I went floating on the river with my family, despite not wanting to (I hate the sun and water and they hate me too). I was wearing capri leggings and despite my attempts, my defenses were worn down and the sun attacked.

I had a sunburn so severe I had large, yellow, fluid-filled blisters all over them. They didn't even look like legs anymore. And we were camping, too. When the blisters popped, I started peeling the skin because it felt good. That was a mistake, I peeled too much. I started peeling off layers I shouldn't have and by nightfall they were infected. My dad tried putting burn gel on me and I screamed bloody murder. Trip to the ER, meds, cream and mummy wrapped and they left me at home and went to finish the camping trip.

I have permanent tan lines/scars just under my knees now. Never again.

It's a toss-up.
1. Fell about 10' when a swing I was on slipped off it's hook on one side. I landed on my hip and had to use crutches for six weeks and then a cane for several months. Even today, if I put too much stress on it (say sprinting) it starts to feel like it's about to dislocate itself... and then I walk with a limp for several days.

2. Chopped through my thumbnail, around the bone, and out the opposite side with a utility knife... not all to pleasant. I now have no feeling on the inside of my left thumb.

3. Shot a framing nail through my index finger.

4. Burned myself on my dad's Harley exhaust when I was 10 or so. I had a third degree burn covering my right calf that eventually turned into a pretty cool "snake skin" scar before fading away over several years.

5. Not exactly an injury in the strict sense, but when I had corrective surgery on my eyes, I wasn't given enough anesthetic and had to sit through the procedure fully conscious and feeling every second of it.

1. When I was 5. I was jumping up and down on a bed, fell off, hit the bed railing and had to get stitches over one of my eyebrows. I still have the scar today and hair grows around it.
2. I was bit by a dog very close to my eyeball and it left a very cool scar that has since faded away.
3. When I was 6 or 7, the top of my foot hit a bed railing and left a deep gash which I still have today as proof.
4. 2 years ago, I was shoved into a table with a sharp metal edge and got cut on my arm to the point of muscle tissue showing. I am frequently asked about the scar.
5. 3 years ago, I fell awkwardly on some stairs and developed a bone bruise on my knee.
6. A few nights ago I hyperextended the same knee I developed a bone bruise on.

I was 4, on my trampoline. A kid I didn't know comes up to me, says "Can I jump on your trampoline?" I respond "Yeah". I jump down from the trampoline, and he runs at me full speed, kicks me in the nuts, runs away, never saw him again. I was on the ground for a solid 20 minutes, almost vomiting.

I was 6, it was my birthday. I got a new toy car dune buggy thing and I was playing with it. My cousin thought it woulds be a good idea to trip me. I fell on my nose and it gave me a horrible nosebleed. Several hours in the hospital later, and I was ok.

I was 13, got testicular torsion. No need to explain that.

16, got my wisdom teeth taken out. It was terrible, but not nearly as bad as the torsion.
