Yona of the Dawn. It really needs more of a continuation than a sequel.

Part of me very much wants it but another part of me dreads it because I know what will happen in the very first few minutes (if not the first minute) of the first episode.

Konosuba. Does that count? I could watch Konosuba for years.

Also.. Dat Dragon Maid, dude!!!

As for something else, off the top of my head... Look, I know its popcorn anime and objectively is nothing super special, but I really enjoyed Gabriel's Dropout and I would love a second season.

But that's all pretty recent stuff... How about Noir! It just came to Cr recently but I collected Noir back in the day as ADV DVDs as they released. It'd be kind of hard to come up with an arc for a second season that wouldn't seem too far fetched, but I really wanted to know who the surviving characters were going to become once the story and all its tension had come and gone.

And I know there is an Eva Rebuild but like... Anyone else wishing they knew what happens after The End of Evangellion? I know I'm curious as an eva fanboy, but I also understand that it would be nearly impossible to make a story out of what's left after "The End"

Gochiusa. Give me more of that. They didn't even finish highschool. I don't know that I'd want to see the friend split up for college and jobs and stuff or that I'd want to see Cocoa have to return home and leave Chino behind. That'd be way too heavy for that show. But I would like to see stuff like... Chiya running her family sweet shop. Grown up Chino taking over Rabbit House and hiring new barristas. What would happen to Sharo and Rize?!?!? Did Cocoa become a laywer, a novelist, or a barrista, or all of them?!?!? Is Tippy ever going to pass on or is he just going to keep being an immortal creeper bunny? I have a lot of stupid questions about the cast of Gochiusa I need answered and it isn't reasonable.

Shinji taps dat ass after Instrumentality. It is known.

Toradora needs more to it. I'd vote Eva too. Fate/Stay Night UBW getting a sequel show chronicling Rin & Shirou's time after the war at the Clocktower is much needed content imo.

It is known? Sources? I'm not trying to be cheeky. I just really want to know if you aren't joking. I'm finding myself not remembering if the last issue of the Eva Manga was the same deal as the movie.

And yeah, my least favorite thing about Toradora is that we spend soooo much time getting to the Deredere and then boom, over, fuck you, go to bed. I actually kind of don't like Toradora because it had so much time to work with but still just chose to do the easy thing and keep us strung along with the tension of "KISS ALREADY FUCKERS!" ugh lol. Is there a Manga? does it go any further?

I need to stop being such a chump and ride that Fate/Stay D. It is on my list of stuff I started watching the shelved because I wanted to savor it.

I more or less took it upon myself to create an afterstory in my head that canonically made sense with the characters and the plot. Basically in my mind, everyone else came back except for Misato, Kaji, Ritsuko, & Gendo. They all wallowed in instrumentality to live out their desired lives for the rest of time. Anyone else who didn't wanna more or less die or live a faux dream life came back, and life resumed with the gradual rebuilding of society. Shinji got with Asuka, and they finished off school together, slowly getting closer to one another before fully understanding, and falling in love with one another.

The Evangelion manga has a real different ending, but it's actually happy as hell lol, not ambiguous, and it differs from my little afterstory I conjured up for the show/movie.

Toradora needed to end with Ryuji & Ami but whatever, since the name of the show translates into the pair that we got, and it wasn't gonna be any other way (sadly). Toradora actually has a manga, but if I recall it's not actually DONE yet, the original light novel has been done for a very long time, and there is a visual novel on the PSP that allows you to choose any of the 3 girls because of a convenient plot point lmao.

Fate is alright. I love Rin, and the overall concept. All the servant character designs and fights are cool as hell, especially Saber. Just know that no matter how much you THINK you know about the Typemoon universe, there is always some visual novel elitist who knows more than you, and will shit down your throat if you didn't read them all too.

The thought of rebuilding society after the worldwide tang epidemic is ... odd. I guess its possible. Who knows what instrumentality did to the climate and what not. I also always kind of assumed that Asuka is there when Shinji comes to, not because she wished to keep on living, but because Shinji decided he wanted to come back and that he wanted to see everyone again. I guess the fact that we only see Asuka come back kind of supports your view of it, that we each get to decide for ourselves if we wish to meld into instrumentality or come back because if Shinji's wish was to see everyone again and it was based on his wish, then everyone would come back. Then again, just because he comes to beside Asuka doesn't have to mean that they are the only two people that came back, though I really like the idea that it was just those two. There is some kind of garden of eden comparison to draw there. A new beginning for humanity starting with two people who have all the bounty of the earth stretched out before them. Pretty cool to use biblical imagery to tell an apocalyptic story that ends, rather than beginning in a Garden of eden. Instead of choosing to partake of the fruit of knowledge and being cast out of the garden of eden at the dawn of the world, the progeny of the fruit of knowledge (humanity in eva universe) makes another choice, which returns them to the garden of eden at the beginning of a new chapter for humanity. I don't know how intentional the parallels are but I think its pretty neat.

an anime that HAS a sequel or you would like to have a sequel to?

I say Ouran. I love it so much and the manga is amazing. But if they continued it, they should match the art style of the first season, unlike D Gray Man Hollow.

WorldEnd. Because the way season one went out was heart-wrenching, but vague enough that answers are needed. Even an OVA would be fine.

Chrono Crusade, although not really a true second season. More a continuation of the story some years later. The threat has already been established, and so has the central character.

I agree that there needs to be more Barakamon. That cluster of island folk has a lot more living to do, and there's much more to learn about all of them.

Oregairu is sounding good but, maybe all that needs is a film to finish it off.

Ahh yess! No Game No Life! That's the one I was thinking of!
