'Oh no, scary foreigners' is what I got from most of the first post. It's a really old, and really tired sentiment. The Irish, Polish, Russian, German, Jewish, Chinese, etc. immigrants got the same rhetoric thrown at them 100+ years ago. Country hasn't crumbled yet, and has been made stronger for embracing diversity.

The funny thing is in town we have a growing homeless population and a majority of it are americans. the foreigners have housing and government assistance while americans are going homeless. that just is not right.

Something needs to be done. things are getting out of hands.

Government money isn't precisely a zero sum game. There's a big pot, and refugees only get a small part of it. If you're concerned about government assistance for struggling families and the homeless, I doubt voting Republican is going to address that concern.

I just wanna say that if you look deeply into Trump's other policies, he's a lunatic. He believes that gun control isn't a problem, he doesn't believe in all of the environmental issues, he thinks mental health isn't important. The fact is that if Trump is elected, the US will enter a state of turmoil and implosion like the UK almost has. If you ask me, the risk is too high to let Trump into office. Why else would so many people want to rally against him and his radicalised views?

I'm just throwing out a reminder here:

Calling others racist or other labels doesn't prove them wrong.

If you think someone said something wrong, you explain to them why they are wrong.

You don't go "damn racist, stop being so dumb/ignorant/whatever". That's not how discussions work. OP has posted something they feel are legit concerns, and if you think they are being wrong in their attitude about the situation they're experiencing, you explain why.

Nowadays labels are used for one purpose. Shutting down people you don't like or disagree with. Stop doing that.

If a school aged kid is not going to school and you have concerns, call CPS and let them figure out what the deal is. Write down the date you called and the name of who you talked to incase something should happen down the road.

Maybe you can invite Hillary over (if you have a few hundred thousand dollars to donate) and she can infect the family upstairs with whatever, sickness, disease, or curse that she is afflicted with.

ya some people try and close a discussion by throwing racism out their to try and get people with different view points even ones that valid like this topic seems to be to shut up. i would say it prove that they don't ahve a good counter argument. like controlled immigration or mass immigration is a legitimate problem but some people aren't capable of seeing it despite all the evidence to the contrary

I have to add though, That Indians and Muslims do it to an extent to but its maily the Indians, they are taking over alot of the unit blocks and by that i mean they actually force other people out.
Not by force but because they are so noisy that other people cant take it and move and then more Indians move in.
Me and my brother both experienced this. When i lived in a block of units some Indians moved in next door and these were small (as units are) and i never quite knew just how many of them actually ever lived in there.
There always seemed to be so many of them and people always seemed to be coming and going.
They would stand outside my door talking, they would leave their unit opened up and i could hear them all talking and their curry pressure cookers from inside my unit.
My brother lived in a unit that he actually bought and slowly one by one each unit was getting Indian tenants. And he experienced the same thing. He said they were always in and out in and out and i mean you cant really do much about hearing doors and cupboards opening and closing in units or people going up and down the stairs but he said the same, so many living in one unit and people always coming and going and they would stand and talk out by his door.
They would wash clothes outside and clean curry pots outside and etc.
The worst though for him was some Muslims down stairs (i think Indian Muslims). One day/night they had a big party type thing but i think it was some religious occasion or something. He said there were so many of them that they unit was full and they were all outside and even were cooking their curries and that outside the unit. Said it went all day and all night and was very noisy and when my brother called the police due to a noise complaint the police did nothing because it was religious related.
Now this is not the sort of behaviour that you do living in a unit block. Your own house then yes that is fine.
Double standard also, if he had a party with us lowly Aussies drinking and playing music or what not, the cops would have shut it down.

And then i moved back down to an area that i grew up in and it was the same deal. I went for walks often and there was a unit block at the end of my street and same deal. Indians. And large groups of them and them hanging out in gropus outside and talking loud in their langauge and kids playing.
Then a bit further on my same walk, there's another unit block and it actually made me laugh and feel sorry for the other tennants. They were so loud, just yapping away with god knows how many in the one unit and all the windows open that i could actually here them from way down the street and it would get louder as i approched.
I worked with an Indian guy and he happened to be renting a unit from that same area.

I was talking to a taxi driver ( a rare non Indian one) and he reckons they all live in one unit (Indians) and will sleep in shifts, like share the bed between multiple people and sleep in shifts.

Anyways it actually is a problem. But its a tough one becasue i guess it is their choice to have so many all live in one small area and they're used to living like that in their home country.
It's hell for other tenants though. I guess it is also up to the unit owner to allow so many to live in there,if he/she is even aware of it?
But they're not very considerate. But i guess the owner only cares about $ and the Indians probably feel they're not doing anything wrong.

Funnily enough i think my brother now rents his units out to Indians. Cant beat em join em? lol

But as far as noisy kids, i dont think that you can put that down to race or immigrants. Kids will be kids and there are bad lazy parents of every race and religion.
The living hell i experienced in my old unit, i called them "the kid pack" was a Aussie/Aboriginal kid and some Greek or Italian kids and they were extremely noisy and made my life a living hell.
I spoke with both parents and they dont not give a fuck. They were just happy their kids were out of their hair, couldn't care less that it's a block of units and consideration should be shown to the other tenants.
It is sad though, to see kids living in a unit. Must be hard.

EDIT: me and my brother used to play cricket out on the street infront of our house back in the day. We were probably annoying too

yes. it's the same here. the foreigners move in americans complain about their behavior, the authorities and landlord don't do anything. nothing is done about them until they make a bomb and blow something or someone up.

You vote for whoever you want. Just do research instead of relying on what happened to you. Some people have different lives, thus different examples. The "I saw it happen" isn't a very good reason or proof.

I commend your attempt to interject reason into this but lament your chances of success.
