Tell me folks, when it comes to homework, how do you handle it.?

Do you have magical ways to get through it or are you going to be a high school drop out?

Just do it. Remember to turn it in. If it's too hard then ask your teacher for help the next day. It's their job to help you.

Do it. Just push through and get it done. There's no real magical way but I would recommend that if you feel yourself burning out on it a bit, to take 15 and have a break, then come back to it. Don't keep pounding at something and adding to any frustrations that might be building up. Take a step back and regroup.

Homework?

Hahaha.

High school is a joke unless you're working towards scholarships.

In the real world there is no homework. You pay for what you want and you work for what you need, and we do so with the skills we have. Homework is just someone telling you what you already know, it is simply practice. Don't get me wrong, it's a good place to start, but it is a useless tactic used by most.

There are only two kinds of people in this world. The one who will do homework and study until the day of a test, and the one who will wait until the day before the test to study. In some cases the difference between both are sometimes unnoticeable. All We are doing is holding onto information, it doesn't matter how we do it, as long we reach our desired number or percentage. This is why I walk my own path. The ones who are dedicated to their professions will create their own practice.

As everyone else says, just get it done.

It's an effort of will and there's no easy solution, but it doesn't get better for leaving it (I should know, I was terrible at doing homework).

The real world generally doesn't have "homework" in the same sense, but you could end up with a job where you end up taking work home to get done as the office closes at a set time and you're not allowed to stay late.

As IngramIV says above, if there's some task you have to do that takes you away from your normal entertainment opportunities (unlikely nowadays I know) like going to a Laundrette you can use that time for homework. It'll be a more efficient use of time and you'll be doing it with a set timescale rather than "as long as it takes". That might help how you feel about it.

Do it as soon as you get home. No distractions (food, games, phone, tv, youtube) until it's done. Make it a habit, stick to, it and it becomes second nature. The rest of the night or weekend is yours to enjoy without having to worry about it.

I don't do homework until, like 7 or 8 pm. Also, just do it and get it done. If my homework is too long, I usually BS the rest of it.

The replies I'm getting are quite surprising, considering when the topic comes up in class most procrastinate or cheat.

I never did anything related to school at home. No projects, no reports and no homework. Nothing at all. I made it through just fine...kinda.

Do homework with a group of people or with a tutor.

Even during lunch hours, you can go to your teacher for help. Most of all, stop being lazy.
