Whenever I want to re-watch an anime I have to go through every episode rewinding them like VHS tapes.

I love Poyopoyo but 52 ep is a lot to reset.

Dose anyone else wish there was a quick way to rewind a series?

*Think I put this in the wrong place, guess the mods will move it eventually to "Advice, Info, Recommendations"*

extra: O_O Let me make this clear.

I WANT TO REWIND A SERIES!

I wish to play them all in one go

They should reset if you are at the end of the episode (this works even if you close the episode on the ending song). The Crunchyroll Roku application has a "Start Episode at Beginning" option. For the website, you can add the following at the end of the URL: ?t=0

Say you were 13 minutes into Orange Episode 13

http://www.crunchyroll.com/orange/episode-13-letter-13-715983

To start it over, you can either click to the beginning or add that string to the end of the URL

http://www.crunchyroll.com/orange/episode-13-letter-13-715983?t=0

This also works if you know the opening is 1 minute 30 seconds long and appears at the beginning of an episode you can say:

http://www.crunchyroll.com/orange/episode-13-letter-13-715983?t=90

???????????
but you would still have to do that one by one.

I don't wish to spend ages rewinding episodes.

I would like this alongside "Dim the Lights", an individual IRC chat for each episode, and maybe even a media auto-sync feature so you and friends can watch it at the same time.

It's called a querystring and t= is time in seconds and works on YouTube as well. I use it on YouTube all the time if a video is too long and I want to watch it in chunks I stick in ?t= and put in how many seconds I am in a video and save it as a bookmark for later. It's extremely handy.

On Youtube you are only watching 1 video not a 52 episode series.

I think you can also use numbers on your key bored to skip parts in a you tube video.

Maybe when the site upgrades the video player to HTML5 they can add additional functionality to reset an entire series to the beginning in one click. Here is what you can do until then, go to your history and clear it all. That should reset everything to the beginning.

no good! I have a lot of series on the go.

I don't wish to loose the data just because of the odd series I want to rewind.

It shouldn't reset your position on the series in your queue, only the position of every episode. Say you were on episode 10 of Orange and cleared your history, your queue should still show you are on episode 10, but 1-9 should be reset to the beginning even if you were in the middle of one of them.

Someone's going to have to explain this.

If you want to "rewind" a video, don't you just click the timer line back near the start?

And if you watch an episode you can just restart it with a click right? Or do people stop them manually when the end theme starts playing?

I feel certain I'm missing something important.

This. When I'm watching something on the site and want to go back to a certain part of the video, or even back to the beginning, I just click in the timeline for it where I want to start it. Additionally, if you let the episode play to the end or click the video towards the end if you want to skip over the end song and let it play the last few seconds, the next time you go to the video it should play from the beginning. I don't understand why you'd need to 'rewind' a video on here with using your cursor to have to manually do that when you can just click on the timeline to go back to the beginning.

The problem is when you are watching a long series like 52 episode having to go thogh each episode to set the back to the start is tedious.

When you do it on a different outlet (not internet) you have to rewind each episode like a VHS tape.
