Hey everyone,

I just finished my very first Java game! I've never taken a programming class, and I don't know any programmers... So I feel super happy and want to share what I made with someone, but there's no one to share it with. D=

Feel free to play for a minute or two and tell me what you think! It's veeeeery simple (obviously).

It's inspired by the little game that shows up in chrome when you don't have an internet connection. So, you're a little white cube that can jump, and you have to avoid the little red cube that comes hurtling at you at increasing speeds! >=D

Good Job, a simple game to be sure but fun. It makes you want to keep trying to beat your high score.

I'm learning to use Godot open source game engine.

I've just been tinker around with this. Maybe try a doujin, fanmade, games made from Godot or other game engine makers. No made video games yet.

Ones I haven't tried.

Twine, simple linear based game making engine. Lends itself well to pick your own adventure.

Stencyl, uses Lego-block coding to build game.

GameMaker, similar to Stencyl has free and paid version.

Besides Unity, Flixel and Flashpunk. So many things to try and do. I can't WAIT!! So much fun waiting.
