I am having currently, and have been having more regularly, the same issue as well. I want to support crunchyroll but the difficulties I've had streaming from multiple platforms over the past year or so has me very disillusioned. Would love to see a resolution to this. Or even an acknowledgement of the issue...

This issue started before Christmas, around the time CR started adding whole seasons on Thursdays. Did you not add servers to handle the load? It is senseless to pay $100 a year for something I am unable to use.

I'm having that issue also, not a nice feeling to come back to the service after not using for a while and to be experiencing this problem. I can only hope it gets fixed soon

I've been having trouble either loading the app itself sometimes or loading episodes in a series. After selecting a series from the browsing menu it'll try to load the episode list but I eventually get a server error.

There's this article in the KB: https://help.crunchyroll.com/hc/en-us/articles/208891166-My-XBOX-ONE-app-won-t-let-me-watch-any-videos-

I tried the steps listed but after uninstalling the app I didn't log in. I tried pulling up a series from the menu and it came up instantly. Logged back in to my account, same server error.

My queue was empty but I checked my watch history which had 2 to 3 years listed. Cleared that, lo and behold I stopped getting the server error.

You are a freaking genius!!! I had gone through the whole uninstall, clean up my queue routine to no effect. Went into my history tab also had almost 2 years of worth. Cleared everything out and then immediately went to my xbox app and it works flawlessly!! Actually loads so much faster than it ever has before. You deserve some kind of compensation from crunchyroll for figuring this out. Thank you!

If someone from CR wants to talk, they know where to find me.

I actually work support myself, so just another day. I put in a ticket and linked this forum post, the KB article, my troubleshooting steps, and the fix suggesting they update that article. Sadly all I received was a canned response on how to troubleshoot the issue. Disappointing, but not surprising.

It seems to be an account synch issue with the Queue and History. I had to completely clear my queue and history (via http://www.crunchyroll.com/home/queue) to get the Xbox app on my new Xbox One S to stop exiting just a few seconds after I started it. I found that if I didn't log in, I could watch shows OK. However, once I logged in, the app would exit within a few seconds (I assume it crashed, but I never got an error).

It sucks, but if all else fails, log onto the website, clear your History, clear your Queue and remove all Devices. As someone said the /nuke approach does seem to work. I'm guessing this is a limitation of the Xbox app, as I have never had this problem with PSN for my PS3 or PS4. I did have some issues with Roku app, but I have an old Roku 1, so I already knew that it's memory is limited. I'm disappointed that Crunchyroll didn't make the Xbox app as robust as the PSN apps, especially considering the Xbox One S is a 4k console and all.

Why pay for brand new episodes if I have to wait for demand to slow to watch Gintama anyway? I was able to endure losing the Samsung app, but when the workaround for that (getting a 360) no longer works either, the value proposition sags completely

So I was just on my Xbox One App and decided to sign up for the preimium membership. After it advised me it was successful, it redirected me to the home page. I then started getting an error stating "Error - The application experienced a server error. Please try again later.", This only started after I signed up for the preimium.

What's supper messed up is when I go into my profile on the Crunchyroll website it is not showing me as having a preimium membership. I cannot even get the app to do anything without this error and I am scared I'm going to be charged for a service which is not even reflective to my account.

When contacting Crunchyroll support they told me it is a known problem and there is no eta... I tried deleting my device from my account, clearing history and the queue. Uninstalled and reinstalled the app on my Xbox one and still no luck getting my app to work and no preimium membership listed anywhere. Any ideas?
