Uninstalled and reinstalled the app on my Xbox one and still no luck getting my app to work and no preimium membership listed anywhere. Any ideas?


You'll need to wait for someone from customer support to correct the error on your account, since it is a billing issue, there's isn't much other users on the forum can help you with.

Thanks for your reply.

I understand the billing issue needs to be addressed with support and that the form cannot help with that. Was more so looking at trying to just get my app working and was hoping the form could aid with that. I Mentioned the other issue incase anyone had the same problem and error occurr after signing up for the membership.

Does it work after you deactivate the console from your account, and before you try logging in again?

Don't feel bad... it's been about 6 months or so since I could run the Crunchyroll app on my Xbox One. It starts up and a few seconds after reaching the starting home page it crashes/quits itself. Microsoft has been utterly useless and it doesn't help that I'm also an Xbox Preview beta dashboard tester.

It'd be nice if Crunchyroll would at least say they're trying to fix it. If this persist I'm cancelling account that I've have for over three years now. And don't tell me to switch to vrv because all I read is it's buggy as well. Multi million dollar company can't fix your problems. Need to hire someone that can.

They are currently working on developing a new infrastructure. There is no date for when it will be deployed.

Close the crunchyroll app before starting opening it. I saw a few weeks ago someone say the issue was because when the app was resumed from standby, it spammed the server with requests until the server blocked it. I now close the app every time before launching since then and I haven't received the server error since.

Crunchyroll, please fix this, as having to remember to close the app before launching is a pain.

I'm gonna try Turak's fix tomorrow, I seem to remember it happening after long periods of absence and then I start using the app again, and it server errors when episode ends.

But if that doesnt work, this is all the info I could figure out

I've been getting this problem. After it didnt work on my xbox one, I tried WII-U, that didnt work, then I tried phone, no luck, then I tried app store No Luck. It does work through browser. I also tried phone using LTE instead of wifi, it worked then.

The only thing special about my network is that its comcast, and I am using DNS 1.1.1.1, I also tried comcast DNS, and google DNS, with no luck.
I mention the dns settings, since when I googled that and crunchyroll, I was greeted with lots of links for unblocking it in odd countries, so Idk if its a server error thing on their part through the app, a security DNS thing, but either way

MY CrunchyRoll APP doesnt Work!
So CR, if you could fix it on my xboxone, wiiu, win10, or phone(wifi) I would appreciate it
