Hi guys,

So I'm still relatively new to Crunchyroll and I was just wondering how the review feature works on the website?
I've written a few now for some of the anime I've watched but earlier today I noticed that on the corresponding anime pages my reviews don't actually show up even though they are still visible on my profile. Do reviews have to be approved before or something and if so is there any reason why they might not have been put up or is there some sort of feature where reviews that don't get enough thumbs up are taken down?

I'm no professional reviewer or anything but I did take my time righting them and I can't think of any reason why they would have been taken down so I'm sad to see that my reviews aren't there even if they weren't very good.

Has anyone else had this issue and if so what's the reason behind it?

You wrote them with US English set (in the footer of all CR pages) and you currently have your language set to UK English in the footer?

I didn't look for all three, but the first one appears on page 2 when I have US English set, but not at all with UK English set...

Thanks asharka that was a much simpler explanation than I was expecting I wouldn't have thought that would have made much of a difference

Well, it does seem a bit silly for the two English settings, but you wouldn't want to see others you can't read mixed in, such as Arabic, for example. You'd have to scroll more and click through to more pages to see the ones you can read.

Also, sometimes a show isn't available to one or the other countries, so that probably factors into (their) consideration somehow...

Yeah I can understand why it's the way it is but like you said with them both being english I didn't even consider that that would be the root of the problem.
