It really doesn't.

Waito pepol aru racis.

Thats kind of central to the entire problem here.

Because black people don't have power amirite. They can't be racist amirite.

As for people that still somehow can't grasp the whole ALM vs BLM thing lets drudge up the comic again

I find this hilarious as you, yourself, admonished another user for trying to start "False Equivalency: The Thread", and then you post a cartoon that fallaciously represents the Black Lives Matter movement.

Not sure if it is fallacious, although perhaps untrue. If black people hypothetically were facing discrimination from police, I think the argument would make sense?

But if the "fire" is police killings, both houses are clearly on fire.

We've talked about this so I'm not going to get into it again, but...really?

They're comparing "All lives vs Black lives" to "All houses vs Burning houses".

Well it makes sense, If black people were being persecuted, but then, so do some arguments that are true, yet argued fallaciously. I don't think it is true, however valid the reasoning is. I just forgot what makes a fallacy a fallacy is though.

Exactly. Keyword: if.

I just forgot what makes a fallacy a fallacy is though.

Invalid reasoning or rhetoric to come to a (generally false) conclusion.

According to who?

Micah X

Wait..So because one nut-job does something without the consent or knowledge of the organization/people he claims to be representing that makes the organization itself a terrorist org? So by your logic, Christians are all terrorists because occasionally some whacko shoots up a planned parenthood (see Denver) or blows up an abortion clinic. Also, all Muslims are terrorists, and I guess the list goes on. Great logic, really sound and well thought out.

"If".

Yes, we talked about that but essentially achieved an agree to disagree before the thread collapsed in on itself.

Except that's not what I said amirite? You said that racism exists equally on all sides. That is demonstrably false if only from American history alone. Adding power into the mix doesn't help your case either. Do you sincerely believe you magically and effortlessly solved racism at some point so everyone should be working from a net zero blank slate? Instead of, you know, generations of systematic racism?

Don't forget cannibalism! Christianity is the only major world religion where adherents have actually eaten non-believers in recent history. So obviously, the buffet is open, right? >.>

Funny cartoon..
But why do you think its relevant..

right now ALL the races houses are on fire. and each on of us pays for our own water.

Caucasian African Hispanic Asian Middle Eastern. They are ALL being persicuted in America at different levels and in different ways.
"Help" is being distributed un-equally throughout the system.
People on ALL fronts are dying, NOT just one group. and ALL of it is being caused by one group or another trying to control the situations at hand.. but like I said in Typical Democratic fashion, its skewed toward the group in power at the moment.

if there is one thing I have witnessed repeat itself throughout my 53 years, its the fact that no matter what is the cause of the moment...
Just wait a minute.. it will change..

now... will it change for good or the bad is another matter entirely... but it WILL change.

the point being that all this stuff is fluid and ever changing.. it like the ocean, the tides will rise and fall and the beach will alter its shape. and essentially both the ocean and the beach will remain the same with just minor changes that really don't amount to anything worth while.. or long lasting

Getting all hyped up about any of this is a waste of time and energy.
