Yea, when I'm giving my cat food. But I don't have a full blown conversation with her.

I couldn't help but notice that they printed "they choose to more" when it's supposed to be "they choose to ignore"


But anyhow, I don't own pets but when I'm around other people's pets I don't talk to them because I assumed non-verbal communication to be more effective with animals

They understand the intention/emotion the humans have behind the tone of voice. They also understand learned words that prompt them to do certain actions.
