Is there really anything out of line with how they started out? Saying they're becoming corrupt... but when were they trying to not be?

I recall them starting out very ideally, focused on morality and liberty. It started going away pretty quickly, but it was still there at first.

I recall Mikazuki murdering people without batting an eye and Orga doing whatever it took to benefit his people regardless of morality really and I don't see how it's become much different now.

You did just now. Morality and liberty was never what they were about.

Tekkadon has always operated as a guerilla force on the battlefield and like a Mafia when dealing with enemies off the battlefield (even more so after they joined a group that's literally the space Mafia). This is nothing knew. The scene in the office reminded me of when Mika shot their old boss when Orga took over the organization back in episode 3.

I'm not talking about them killing people, that's obviously something they're gonna do. What I'm talking about is the moral compromises that they engage in to benefit their organization. Idk why the other guy thinks trying to improve their group makes anything they do non-corrupt, but that's the way it is. I mean, they flat out joined up with a mafia-istic (is that a word? I'm gonna pretend it is) organization. Is there any more cliche way to show corruption than to have a character have ties to the mob? And if that isn't enough for you just look at Merribit's scenes. Her reactions to what's going on show the progressively more compromising nature of Tekkadan.
