Also who would you like to see acting in it?

additionally do you agree with film makers taking creative liberties with casting / screenplay?

Jormungand would translate to American film extremely well. The overarching plot is a lot less interesting than the individual arcs, so each arc or so would make a good plot for a single movie. Then you have the fact that it's already basically a Hollywood action flick in anime form. The special affects guys would just have to make shoot outs with high powered weaponry, which they've got down, and don't have to worry about fantasy powers, etc.

No idea what actors to have in it.

91 Days would make a good live action movie.

Not sure about the director or actors though.

91 days, good call. Who would act in it is just a discussion point really for movie buffs, it'd be a long shot to really pick a good fit from an animation character, especially anime

Do you mean a live action or an animated one? Either way I think that The Irregular at Magic High School [/i} would make a fantastic film. If animated use the same Seeyus as the anime. Live action? No clue. Messing with the cast is always a producers right. The script would hopefully have a tremendous input from the original creator.

Hmmm....

Maybe Tarantino as the director? Only because I know he's a fan of all genres, including anime. Or maybe Spielberg...didn't he direct Road to Perdition?

As for the cast itself:

I dunno....maybe Russell Crowe for Fango?

I'd probably would cast Ethan Hawke and Steve Buscemi but I dunno who.

As for Nero/Angelo/Corteo....I'd pick all newcomers. Or people from tv.

man 10-15 years ago Brad Pitt coulda pulled off a perfect Nero. And Johnny Depp (appearance only though) for Angelo. They're both old af now though.

live action film, yea should have probably clarified. Generally speaking in the u.s. 'film' refers to a live action medium, but I can understand the confusion. that's my b

i agree with 91 days...

perhaps Gangsta? though it's got some supernatural stuff in it..

also that anime where the guy got out of jail and wanted to be some kind of actor-speaker person so he befriends this old guy with a limp who raised his best friend's daughter bc the best friend died there was a woman or two involved?? and the best friend guy was great at the acting thing and also they were gay

ok they weren't really gay but i can dream

also i didn't finish that anime. shouwa something or another

lol how about My Love Story!! ? haha i'd love to see who they'd cast as Gouda

90s era Pitt would've been great as Nero and 90s era Depp would've been fine as Angelo.

Maybe RDJ as Nero? Sure he'd be a little older, but he can handle cocky.

Is cool. But since I am culturally unhip I can't name any actors young enough, sexy enough (the ladies are all beauties) and badass enough (hell all the students at 1st Magic High are all badasses in some way which explain why they are at the elite school). Sorry about that. Wait Liv Tyler could be Miyuki Shiba since she did Arwen from The Lord of the Rings films.

I've thought about this before, and a Quentin Tarantino adaptation of Black Lagoon would be awesome (not that creative I guess considering Black Lagoon is already inspired by Tarantino movies).
I want Idris Elba as Dutch, I don't know about the rest of the casting.

Cowboy Bebop. Um... I guess Mark Wahlberg as Spike, The Rock as Jet and Scarlet Johansen as Faye.
