DISCLAIMER: Random Political Rant

Has nobody ever seen South Park? Or is everyone too simple minded to see the truth of whats happening in this country?
We almost literally have a Giant Douche and a Turd Sandwich running and people are still taking this seriously.

Let me just give some unfortunately lesser known points if you're still not quite sure what I'm getting at.

#1: There are positions of power that go way above the president that we do not publicly get informed about in the media.

#2: The people who have that power operate in shadows, and are the ones who TRULY have an effect
on our country and the things that happen here.

#3: The president is just this country's biggest celebrity, america's number one superstar! Who's role it is to be the public face of blame for the higher ups that ACTUALLY are pulling the strings in this country.

What do we do to remedy this situation? I haven't the slightest clue, but my gut tells me that blindly following this system that has been in place for so long, that only gets more and more twisted as time goes on, only helps perpetuate the problem.

You should shoot up the rich people while you still have your guns or something.

Get the money out of politics, make lobbying (legalized bribery) illegal and start throwing the criminal ones in jail. Sure we might have to clean house a few times, but it would get the job done.

Problem is the government body which is at least 3/4 corrupt has to pass such laws to flush out the corruption in the DC cesspool so it will probably never happen

Technically, the individual's vote never counts in a Presidential election. The electoral vote is what matters, and the state Senators cast the electoral vote. The individual votes for a Senator in a different election, and informs the senator which candidate they want for president by "Voting" for a specific candidate. Senators don't have to cast the electoral vote in favor of the majority, they can pick whoever they want, but its a good way to ensure they don't get re-elected next term.

LOL

Yeah, I think the biggest takeaway from this election is that everything in the US is for sale.

I can't wait til the presidential campaign is over. So sick of Trump and Hillary now. I just miss the days with PC and Warcraft 3. Such easier times

well duh, we live in a republic, not a democracy. it even says so in the pleage of allegiance. the people do not have the power. we give the power to the goverment, and they decide who is president. popular vote doesnt even count in the primaries.

Well im with you buddy. However, in America, in a main stream sense thats a conspiracy theory. Every point you made is subjective to your world view. I mean I think every person has seen an Illuminati conspiracy youtube video. So, where I do agree that since after JFK the president has either been appointed by shadowy groups or manipulated by shadowy groups, the majority of the public they believe in the false reality. I mean why start at why people think the election matters, why do people even associate with being republican and democrat when they are 2 wings of the same bird. Nothing in our system makes sense in that world view. How can people function with a job, paying bills, and raising kids and have time to critically think about these things.... so they just subscribe to the main stream world view.

But what matters for those in the shadows is that everyone believes the election and even the president matter. Since so many do, apparently their PR has been working extremely well and nothing seems like that will ever change.
