This is my subjective taste keep it in mind. If you like the other movies then fantastic. But i just kinda disliked that it went from child friendly go to school to learn about magic to more gritty drama (Well how i can describe it)
Although i have some guilty pleasures of liking some elements of the later movies. But i don't wanna seem as a party pooper or anything. Since i know its pretty fun and engaging to like a series in general.

I am just wondering your views?

So the third movie on? That was what... Dead Hallows, and the two movies where there's all those awkward naked scenes?

Completely agree. It's not that the rest are necessarily bad movies, but the first two were absolutely perfection and honestly I don't think the movies would have been as big as they were had it been the same quality since the beginning. The original dumbledore died before the third and the guy they brought in to replace him was awful IMO, couldn't stand him. Read an article that said he kept cigarettes in his sock for the entire filming and it fit the image that guy gave me of his "dumbledore". I'll watch the first two over and over but aside from the last two, I don't even watch the others.

I feel you the same way and the later Harry Potter movies can't hold the candle to the original. I also agree that the original "Dumbledore" was superior. So yeah, I believe that most Harry Potter movies are mediocre, especially The Goblet of Fire, which looked kind of like some pessimistic teen drama (the story didn't stand out for me).

the books became bloated during goblet of fire ( Akward teenage years I blame Ginny ) so it makes sense that even the movies would match it. my personal favorites is 1, 3 (Gary Oldman) and hollows part 2. The others don't stand out to me as much.
