It's gone? No! Although there's always physical version, i still miss it from here... Damn Sentai. Still, i should be glad that they give us that.

Can you not watch HIDIVE in Finland?

Hmm, yes i recall it's possible to watch in here. I do love this show, but considering that its home release is here soon, i'd rather buy it than watch it there. Besides, i'm already paying every month to 3 different sites (CR, Netflix and Wakanim) a subscription and i rather not do that on four times. Time only shows, if that happens.

Maybe Crunchyroll shouldn't have screwed Sentai over when CR started to license disc rights as well.

Sentai was already starting to leave them. Chivalry of a Failed Knight was a Hulu exclusive long before anything CR would have done and Sentai had other Hulu and TAN exclusives beforehand as well.

They probably knew in advance what would happen. And they still put plenty of their shows on CR. Plus back then they didn't have many other choices besides CR because Hulu was unstable when it came to anime.

Sentai was struggling for cash, and then Amazon came along and offered to essentially pay for most of their licenses, much more than Crunchyroll could offer as Amazon is a megacorporation owned at the top by the world's richest man (at least briefly), while Crunchyroll is all about anime and only the otaku culture. Of course, when this much cash is involved, it's an offer they couldn't refuse. The interest is mutual there as Sentai got a huge payday, while Amazon increased their catalog that was lacking when Strike was launched. This deal allowed Sentai to finally update their own subscription service as Anime Network had fallen into disrepair, and HiDive was created to replace it. Pretty much, the point is that I don't think it was much CR deserting them as it is Sentai being given an opportunity to help out their bottom line.

Anyway, I just wished that Crunchyroll would give us an advanced warning before these videos get taken down. They had to be aware of when the streaming rights expire, and if they had done that at least procrastinators would have been able to prioritize watching this show rather than being forced to go over to HiDive in the middle of their viewing.

Just finished this series and absolutely loved it, so much so I'd probably even stick it in my top 3 animes alongside Madoka Magica and Shin Sekai Yori. Just put in my preorder on the limited edition blu-ray

So it's back on CR? Yeah. I was aware of it for some while. I might rewatch it in the future.
