I am totally loving this show. The characters are great. The jabs at the industry (and it's fans) are also great. Just so good.

I love how each of the characters seem to have two or more "sides" to them.

So far one of the shows I really like from this season.

lol oh god...that first half was sooooooooooooooooooooo, soul crushing...lol Christ...from how the show depicts the LN writer (so meek and you can just tell hes a shut in who would create a harem like this for self insert), then the anime art just not being the same style has all the promos to just how bad Chitose was at acting....The anime they are producing is just so doomed to failure...

But then the second half kicked in and Chitose can tell her downfalls (well shes all downfalls LOL), and gave a damn to get better ='D. lol I am impressed with Chitose VA to be able to range into being a "terrible VA", cuz that was just so fantastically bad, like the worst form of crappy tsundere you can even imagine lolol.

I adore this show and its cast. nothing but pure love for this.

Girlish Number EP 3 "A Corrupted Chitose and A Stale Situation"

Another cynical look at the industry and Chitose's trouble doing her lines . Behind the scenes the anime has all kind of problems I feel sorry for the author who just seems to go along relectantly

Then Chitose is having to do all kinda of retakes with recording getting done late Gojo has to spell it out for her she got the role because of his backroom deals because she stinks!

Chitose asks Momoka for help and she suggests looking at other similiar anime since Chitose has hardly any background to draw from If one thing is true in the real industry a good resume helps but you got to start somewhere

Even though Shibasaki goes out with the VA's in the washroom she tells Momoka Chitose is just barely gettin by But Momoka surmises maybe that is all they want

The Production CMT say just make the anime after all kinds of objections !

THe author / Series Compositin have a falling out and she quits Oh My!
And it's about Light Nvels and regular anime .

All the VA's go out to dinner after getting done at 730 ibstead of 1000 vbecause Chitose asked for advice from Momoka and did a better job!

Want a true trstament to how great this show is? It depicts the voice acting industry very negatively... And yet it still makes me want to be a VA.

Just about everything about this show has been extremely engaging and entertaining. Solidly in my top 3 watches of the season, not counting sequel or continuation seasons.

Unlike Shirobako I don't want to watch the anime they're making. At least not yet.

While I like the usual high school setting anime plenty, it's particularly nice to see ones that take place in the working world where we fans who've long since graduated from school now spend so much of our waking hours, I think. The specific industry (anime production, voice acting) may be totally different from our own (and nearly all the main characters seem about half my age!), but many things are still very relatable. I really liked Shirobako as well. Chitose is kind of a jerk, but still a likeable one (at least to watch, if not necessarily to actually be around), and I suspect it'll be enjoyable to see her take her lumps a bit, but also grow and mature into a real professional as a result. Hopefully she can shrink that swollen head of hers, and not irreparably annoy all her colleagues and seniors along the way-- and maybe foster enough good will with Momoka that Momoka might consent to be a professional mentor of some sort. I wonder a bit what Momoka is like, but I'm guessing right now she could be a good mentor if she's convinced helping Chitose would be appreciated and not wasted effort. The established VAs might well survive this seeming train-wreck of an anime production unscathed, but I wonder how it might affect a newbie who's just getting their career started if they're not careful. Can a project fail so badly it becomes such a black mark on one's record that one becomes untouchable? (i.e. no one will hire you ever again)

Calling it, this and Flip Flappers are the sleeper hits of this season. Also, I think this is the first time I've ever seen moe characters drink beer and alcohol. It's almost astonishing.

Episode 3

I feel like this episode somewhat humanized Chitose a bit.

It allowed her to fail and because of that realization comes into effect and makes Chitose grow a bit. Still, she'll need to learn not to get ahead of herself and get better.

Of course, dull anime acting catered to Otaku's is "What They Want", so the need for her to improve a lot may not be needed. Hopefully, Chitose can see this and still try to improve for the better.

Another good eps. Chiose has to lost of retakes and get some lessons from Monoka. Of course is acting what the producers want?

and will the end result be any good?

This show is pretty well a savage look at the anime industry ..

Episode 3

Time for a reality check as Chitose got the role under dubious circumstances, and not because she's an up and comer because to simply put, she needs a lot of training if she is going to stand a chance in this industry. She's the reason why the voice directors had to work later than they want to as it's dull and lifeless. That pretty much brought Chitose back down to Earth as her work is unacceptable in most situations, but not here as the director kept all of the criticism to themselves. At least her next recording session was better, but she still has a long way to go. This whole thing is just one big train wreck waiting to happen.

Curious to see how long it takes the ego to come back.
