NYCC?

Yeah, looks like a very western-friendly action show. pass from me, because it's not my sort of thing, but I guess it's good to have collaboration.

Excited to see how this project pays off. If its a success, we could be in for more interesting shows in the future! I wonder if this is a series or a movie. On the Crunchyroll's teaser video, it states "See the entire episode on the big screen at Anime Movie Night on July 26!" Since it mentions an "episode", I guessing its a series. Though I hope its not just one episode.

From the teaser, I only heard English being spoken (well that was the only line in the video). I curious to see if this will be (originally) spoken in English, like Afro Samurai.

This show looks cool, and it's interesting to see mainly black characters and a black lead in the teaser... I'm hyped

I saw the first episode of this before the Ancient Magus' Bride screening, and I must say that it's off to an intriguing start to say the least, I like that this show does something different in that the characters are people of color rather than Asian (as is the case with most anime) or white (which has a pretty sizable presence as is the case with Ancient Magus' Bride). This show takes place in an apocalyptic version New York City, which is where LeSean Thomas is originally from, and the show is going to be dubbed when it comes to Crunchyroll.

Really thought the anime was good set-up episode for more to come and being the brain child of Boondocks my guess entire cast will be all sorts of races which is why LeSean Thomas is da Bomb. How can you not love a female lead with samurai sword(hello Walking dead)
Super pumped CR put up the money hope this formula works for future shows instead of just buying rights every season?

The dude with the cybernetic arm was speaking some non English stuff, but it definitely was a Romance language and not Japanese.

I thought it was good. A lot of the characters and the world still needs to be explored, so I hope there will be more soon.
