"Twinkie Count" Saint-Germi is basically Tequila Joseph: The Anime, and it is absolutely glorious.

Is Yoichi supposed to be a semi-trap? Or was that a one time joke lul. Black King (Jesus) is actually overpowered since he can do almost anything like cast instant regeneration, cast instant food, cast instant terminal cancer, but it seems they want to us to think that his lifespan is very limited here. Only 2 more episodes this season, I wonder what kind of cliffhanger we are going to be left on. I'd be surprised if one significant main or side Drifter or End didn't bite it.

Right? I keep getting asked this same question. Keep defending that he's just a pretty boy. But it's tough! The VA also did Kuranosuke Koibuchi (Princess Jellyfish... TRAP!). She's goooood.

Am I the only one who was disappointed there was no OP this episode?

No you're not the only one, I need the OP or else it doesn't feel right! The anime is still awesome nonetheless.

Wild thought, a little off topic but fun. Saw this image today and wondered if those teams over at AOT could use Toyohisa's help.

Seeing Toyohisa use a 3D manoeuver gear would be pretty awesome.

*eyes light up*

And the devilish tactics Nobunaga would devise...
3D maneuver gear with guns, fire arrows, Olminu of Stone Coffins, black powder, cannons, blades and Toyo...
Ooooo, imagine the terror!

Episode 11

Toyohisa is now the new leader of the Orte Empire after Count Saint-Germi staged a coup, but first there is Rasputin to deal with as he has made a puppet out of the aristocrats there. With Rasputin's plan foiled, the Ends move in to conquer Verlina with Hijikata leading the charge. So the war begins with a bunch of topless soldiers firing guns, elves launching arrows, and then Toyohisa charging in. That was some great power on display all going to show just how strong an army that Toyohisa and company have built. But now, Toyohisa's greatest challenge awaits with Hijikata on the attack.

I thought the summer season of anime was terrible, I hadn't had anything good to watch for a long time now so took to rewatching animes I'd seen before... Then with the fall season comes "drifters" and I love it! First and foremost with any new anime I look at the art style (don't know why but there's a range of styles I like and respond to and conversely there are styles that I can't abide! They irritate me and I'll pay them no need) drifters false adjacent to the former of the two, yet sets itself apart with the bold and slightly off set outlining (with that in mind I can watch fully at least the first episode) then it comes down to premise/plot and I couldn't be happier! An interesting and dramatic story with lots of little details coming into play, the unique individuality of characters with (possibly) their own agendas opposed to alliances form makes for a great watch... Throw on top of all of this action/fantasy drama, cut away from serious scenes a change in art style and a comedic sidetrack (which I love in animes) allows that break in the flow of how they interact to how they really feel...
All in all, definitely one to watch!

Drifters is really different than what i guessed it would be before the season. To me, it's more a story of the macro game, kind of like playing Civ, more so than just fighting and shouting and doing badass things.
