Two things i would love to see CR do in the future:

One subtitle sizing! I would love to adjust the size of subtitles on CR they used to be smaller now take up a large part of the screen on the bottom not sure when it changed.

Two: Automatic license loss two weeks prior to a show expiring that appear in the news or site forum. This would allow folks to plan on watching stuff before its gone! I simple message explaining what show would be gone two weeks before the show gets taken down would be great!

Three: most folks seem to ask for a customer service phone line! but that takes staff and money so it might never happen!

ok folks anyone with other suggestion for the CR staff? let em rip please try and be constructive and polite!

I am also extremely for subtitle size and maybe even color / backround settings.
Because one size for all devices just doesn't work, e.g. if I sit directly in front of my mobile phone and watch, the font size can be way smalle than sitting in front of a TV several meters away from the screen.

Subtitle sizes would not be for the site only but also for the apps.

There would need to be a major change to how episodes are delivered before that would be feasible. Currently, subs are encoded into the video files, and in order to support various sizes, they would need to encode for all devices, languages, resolutions, and subtitle sizes on top of that. I've noticed that lower resolution video seem to have larger subtitle font sizes, though you'd have to throttle your own bandwidth and be fine with SD quality for that to work.

Well, if you ask me one shouldn't embed subtitles into the video but overlay them, there are already subtitle formats that can be overlayed and even styled and placed diffferently at the same time which is how I think those should be handled.

I agree that it is not likely this will happen with already encoded titles but it really should be considered for newer titles.

In regards to SD being bigger than HD that makes sense if the subtitles are embeded in the video.
Probably the same amount of pixels are used which means that if SD is upscaled to HD it will be displayed bigger

Here's a suggestion that'd really be nice to see, IMO. I don't like to take stuff off my queue list in case another season's brought out or in case I wanna rewatch 'em later on. As you can expect, my list is a little... cluttered. I would love to see either a separate "Completed" list, or the ability to create lists for one's self. The queue system hasn't changed in all the years I've been here, and with all the new titles coming out, it gets hard to keep track of everything, and there's only so much drag-rearranging one can do to make it more usable.

For the love of $diety, let us use HTML5 on desktop. Flash is a nuisance security flaw that needs to be done away with already on the web, and there's no need for it on a site like this when HTML5 does everything it does, only better. I hate having to specifically enable flash just to watch anything on my desktop.

Two ways to avoid that are to use the app if you have Windows 10, or use the unofficial HLS player extension for Chrome:

I'd really like to see every single series get tags that correspond to the type of anime it is.
There should never be a blank spot where tags go.

If Crunchyroll wants more premium members, then the company really needs to stop dropping the ball on site usability / accessibility.

Can I recommend a few things to this site? Can we actually have a queue for our manga instead of just Anime? The mobile only archiving is pretty frustrating, and It's pretty janky that there isn't a personal archive for Manga on the site.

I have a suggestion also.

Crunchyroll should add a sort organizer to queue.

I have a big queue and i would love to reorganize it to most recently updated instead of order of addition,
maybe have both and be able to toggle.

This would really allow people to check their shows without having to try to find it in their queue or wonder if its up yet.

Its hard to keep up with the dates of release when you are following like 10 or 15 shows a season

I would always go into the /queue, and move all the currently airing shows to the top, and within the first couple weeks, order things so that would be in order of the day of the week they'd premier. It takes a bit of time to set up, but it does improve the navigation experience, and you won't be forced to wait for a feature that may never show up.

Thats a great idea. Never even though of that. Im usually on the console or apple tv so its not an option there but its definitely worth doing it on the computer at the beginning of the seasons
