After a good Summer this Fall is really great in my opinion. What I've noticed is that they reduced the amount of adapted anime and increased the number of original ones since this Summer, which is great. I really don't like LN adaptions since they never have a proper end, and hopefully they are running out of material to adapt.

Bungo Stray Dogs 2: not much to say the first season was great and this season started strong already.

Occultic;Nine: made by stains;gate and robotic;notes creators, that's enough for me.

Haykyuu 3: stopped at the first season for lack of time, but it's a solid sport anime

Drifters: Really good animation/action, the comedy is unnecessary imo and would have been better without; especially since the colors and setting would have worked wonders with a dark theme.

Shuumatsu no Isetta: I was skeptical at first, since anime of the studio Ajia-Do never piqued my interest; but i was pleasantly surprised. I've a thing for WWII settings both in anime and movies; not to mention the characters seem interesting (not your typical clueless hime), if they receive proper development I'm sold.

Hibike! Euphonium 2: I had to put sunglasses for all that shiny animation right of the bat, and I mean it in a good way! Loved the first season and already love the second one.

Yuri!!! on Ice: Biggest revelation for this season for me, I really hope it's a 24 episode anime or split cour because I could watch that animation and listen to the ost for hours without getting tired. I'm not a fan of ice skating; but the premise seems interesting.

WWW.Working!!: I'm still undecided if I like it or not tbh. The new cast is not as good as the old one; but I'd be happy to be proved wrong later on.

Mobile Suit Gundam: Iron-Blooded Orphans 2nd Season: Best Gundam since 00, actually way better than 00, making it's comeback.

Flip Flappers: Second biggest revelation of the season, absolutely love the animation; although i would have preferred for them to be stuck traveling between alternate worlds, rather than having to deal with what seems to be a dark organization looking for shiny stones.

Cheating Craft: Was about to drop mid episode; but then it switched pace and focused on what could potentially save it for me. A sort of battle anime where they have to find ways to cheat their way to the end of the exam. I don't know if I'll stick to the end; but i like the premise.

Gi(a)rlish Number: This studio has been a hit and miss with me, but the possibility of this being a Shirobako type of anime centered on seyuu has me excited.

Lostorage Incited WIXOSS: First anime of the WIXOSS world for me, not sure what to expect.

Time Bokan 24: It's a trip back to my childhood days (kindergarten), I'm not sold on this remake yet; but this was one of my very first anime, so I will probably watch it all.

Anime I'm not sure about since they have yet to air:

Nazotokine
3-gatsu no Lion
Fune wo Amu

Then there are the contining anime:

Sousei no Onmyouji
Days
Saiki Kusuo no Ψ-nan

Then there are those anime that I didn't list because not that great; but that I will still watch anyway. So yeah, will be a very busy season for me.

Lol! This is what you call rationalization. This fall's anime are shit.

I agree, definitely one of the weakest seasons I've encountered so far. I'm not liking the current trend of all the yuri/yaoi baiting and male only/female only cast slice of life shows being the new front-runner, but sadly that's whats making the most money for the animation studios these days.

Though its not like there aren't any solid shows this season, I mean Mobile Suit Gundam Iron Blooded Orphans Season 2 itself makes the season good enough for me plus add the solid 1st episode of Izetta: The Last Witch and the upcoming Occult;Nine and maybe Drifters can make up for the lack variety this season has to offer.

This is something im noticing right now as well the yuri/yaoi baiting. That and cutesy, slice of life, sports anime are really making me watch a lot less anime this season.

So... many... shows to watch. And many of them are in CR. Great. Regardless how great or bad some of them might be, i will watch them to the end. Yes, i'm aware that i may waste my time doing so but, come on.

And, as a side note i've 20+ shows to watch during fall and i'm still waiting 1-2 shows to air.

I swear these people are so annoying, complaining every single season that every show sucks. If you don't like it, don't watch it- it is as simple as that.

'CANCEL THE F**KING ICE SKATING SHOW AND SWORD SHOW F**KING FUJOSHIT BAIT"

What is up with people this season? There's always been cries of things sucking every season but it's like this fall has bought up the WORST in everyone...It's not just here either. It's a lot fo anime sites.

Are people that pissed off that Yuri on Ice and Hanamaru are around? Y'all got Keijou.

Drifters is worth it. I think...but it's up to your taste.

I liked Occultic Nine though it was all over the place.

(Not so) old boys network at work again, perhaps? Remember the online storm when Free! was first announced?

I've long hated the "Things I don't like shouldn't exist" attitude of some people. These same type shows aren't on my favorites list either, but I just watch something else instead. I don't expect the anime industry to cater to my tastes alone. Saying things like this is giving permission to everyone else to say those same things about shows you may like but they don't, but apparently these people don't understand that.

It's really annoying this season. And it's a lot of misogyny. Man, I lol'd so hard after the fanboy tears of Free and even K but I dunno...

It will never be like the 90s when Bebop/Evangelion/whatever classic show you like were around. Luckily you guys got the rights to most of them anyway (well, not Eva). Attack on Titan and SAO are enjoyable, but not the next coming of anime. Moeshit and Fujoshit are not fucking ruining anime. Neither is fanservice. IT IS WHAT SELLS IN JAPAN.

It's like no one wants to even give most of the shows a chance. Even in a season where a lot didn't appeal to me, I could find at least one or two shows that I'd like...

People are bitching because there is no one punch man, Re zero, or AOT. Wasn't it like this when opm and AOT ended? This season problem is that they dont have a show like that.

Pretty sure there is a segment of the community that goes off every season as soon as they see anything moe, yuri, yaoi, slice of life, shoujo, josei, sports, etc.

Some people can only seem to enjoy shounen/seinen battle shows, which makes stuff like moe "crap" and "pandering" and "lame" because it's not the one or two genres they like.

Are these people ignoring the second half of Mobile Suit Gundam: Iron-Blooded Orphans?

Is it just me or does this 2016 fall season for anime seem.... meh. Seems to be a lot of sports and slice of life stuff but very little in the way of action or adventure type. Personally i think ill cancel membership until they get some better shows.

It's also suffering from Sequelitis, So that could be it too.

Most people don't even give it a chance because its Gundam. Which has been on fire the last 3 years with iron blood thunder bolt and unicorn. Also fo me personally Haikyu and Iron are good enough to carry a season. Also it just started so I'm Sure I'll find some other good shows. Also people don't like trying new things unless it's popular. Also people act like anime is the only thing to life. Your u have music video games sport and a lot of other stuff.
