Hello there!

I am from saudi arabia.. the library here is really bad.. i know you are working on it or at least that's what you say.
But the thing is you keep adding really bad animes and ignore the good ones!?

They added 34 anime this season but come on! Like 60% of them are crap.

So why don't you just save money you get for some real good animes like haikyuu which i was shocked that you didn't licensed it for the region.

If there was good animes like (One piece,Detective Conan,Bleach, one punch man) then i think that would attract alot of people in the middle east riegon.

Belive me there are tons of anime fans in the middle east that could pay for the membership but they think its not worth it to pay for some normal animes that they might not watch!

And i think you should work on advertising on middle eastern anime channels. That would get you more memberships sold.

No one would subscribe a membership if the library was bad and everyday you say you're wokring on upgrading the library.

But you upgrade it with bad stuff! I Don't care if there is like 100+ more people watching them because if there was better animes there will be like 2000+ people or much more maybe!

I think it's a risk that you have to take.. adding good animes and advertising for them would double or triple your profits. And that would force the non official sources to close!

Thanks for reading my long complaints

It's not up to CR what regions they license for. They always aim for worldwide, but either because it's already licensed to another company serving your region, or because the original rights-holders haven't made them available for their own reasons, CR isn't able to get the streaming rights for certain countries for specific shows.

Thanks for responding but i really would like an crunchyroll staff to answer my questions .

By the way (crunchy roll) is the only anime source here so it can't be sold to someone else.

And i don't find a reason for the rights-holders to not sell the license

It's not easy to add regions to a license retroactively. Some publishers also group the Middle East and North Africa under a European licensing package. So if a European deal does not work out, we might not be able to get MENA either.
