Kanae wants Sosuke and The Classicaloid's to take care of the house whlle she goes to tend a sick uncle ( See later ) but it turns out to be a disaster !

Beethoven confesses to Kanae to cover up the roof Mothes was painting pink instead of cleaning it . Oh the paint thet were cleaning up started dripping and the excuse it was Pink Vomit then threy all fall down in front of her

Kanae leaves with a threat ( She should have stayed ) Cleaning was more of a demolition XD Even Pad-Kun wasnt safe

But Sosuke finds out Kanae wanted to go on a trip with her friend Uzuki ( So she takes them along )

Classicaloid EP 12 “J. S. Bach”

A good look at Bach and just more crazinees . This anime has become a favorite of mine . Another cour to go ( Winter )

Bethoven gets invited to an music audition ( guitar )thanks to Bach' assistant but doesnt go smoothly / with worries from Tchaikovsky and Baranowska

Mothes and Souske tag along but Moathes gets asked to be an Idol which goes dowhhill quickly

Meanwhile Bach visits Kanae and thinks the Mansion is a good place for them

However Mothes and Bethovens Musiq get out of hand And Beethoven has to go quell them in an epic anime fight

The Penguins ( err Happy Feet)

Nice too see Bach do his thing and the Revelation of the "Eight Sounds " he needs from the Classicaloid

Rebecca Silverman / Runner Up: ClassicaLoid

I know there were better written, better put together shows this season, but there really weren't any others that consistently made me happy like ClassicaLoid. This madcap romp of a series, featuring reborn classical composers all “renting” (in the absolute loosest sense of the word) room in Kanae's fabulous music-themed mansion, both lampoons and honors the composers and their works, and if I could have lived without seeing my favorite composer become a moe idol, I'm glad I didn't have to go any longer without experiencing a gyoza-obsessed Beethoven, which I never knew I needed. The bright colors and giddily bizarre modernizations of the composers’ great works, the inexplicable spoonbill Hachie, and the weird powers of Muzik all combined to make something that made very little sense but was nonetheless utterly enjoyable. Apart from the fact that my world will now be incomplete until I can own a Beethes figure, ClassicaLoid just generally made me happy and was something to look forward to each week. For that I can even forgive the fact that it revived my sisters’ and my terrible composer joke from high school, which I shall leave you with, because if nothing else, it's probably what predisposed me to love this show:

Sister 1: I'll be Bach!

Sister 2: I'll be Haydn!

Sometimes a lame joke and a bright color palette are all it takes to make you happy. Thanks for that, ClassicaLoid.

Rose Bridges / Runner-up: ClassicaLoid

I don't know if it was an overall better anime than Girlish Number, but I definitely had the second-most fun with ClassicaLoid. I am 100% the target audience for this show, as a classical music lover and fan of bishounen-filled comedy anime. It's another one I have been eagerly awaiting since it was first announced. So while other people's mileages may vary, I can't help but love this show—and it's a testament to Yuri!!! on Ice's near-perfection that it managed to usurp it for my top spot.

What I like the best about ClassicaLoid is that it makes its composer bishounen feel like new characters, without straying too far from historical fact. It's not that I have never enjoyed inaccurate composer biopics (I love Amadeus, and you can't get through a scene of that movie without pointing out some falsehood about Mozart or Salieri). But it is frustrating to see how little care media takes with composers, even compared to other historical figures. It's like they assume the audience doesn't care or know enough about classical music to be bothered. Luckily, ClassicaLoid has found the perfect formula that allows them to take creative liberties. The titular Classicaloids are modern reincarnations of these famous composers, but everything from their interests to their genders can be different. It can go completely wild, but then sets the record straight at the end of each episode. That's when Sousuke's blue iPad spits out info about the real composers' lives and music, and how they differ from the modern, Technicolor anime versions.

All that, and it's just really, really funny. Whether it's Beethoven's gyoza obsession, Liszt's vanity, or everybody blowing up the house when landlady Kanae asks them to clean, there is never a dull moment in ClassicaLoid. In this season, full of otherwise good, but poorly paced anime, that really counts for something. That's why ClassicaLoid is my runner-up for best anime of fall 2016.

Classicaloid is a very underated anime like Rinne is The comedy unique cast and the Music History brief but important to the Episode!

Classicaloid EP 13 “Die Forelle”

The EP title and Scubert's piece is based on a poem about a fisherman ! ( Just great history and adaptation into humor

That was so great and funny this was like a Flip Flapper Episode Oh then they were swimming in the ED ! Just brilliant comedy !

Schubert turns into a Fish singing with his wand not only that but Mozart wants him for dinner then we go to Bach's where fish is being served what a brilliant joke Then Hasshie goes after him in the pond He spells out freedom with sticks when Kagura shows up . He takes Schubert to a river to release him but is caught by Beethoven who also turns into a fish , Then the whole mansion wants to have both for dinner and all insanity breaks loose / Beethoven and Schubert use Musiq to turn the Kitchen Appliances into a kitchen mech with others giving pursuit but everybody turns into fish which reminded me of " Saving Nemo " a week later everybody returns to normal but Schubert sings again and turns into a fish!

The Kitchen in Classicaloid is very dangerous ( Really anywhere ! ) XD

Kitchen Utensials are very useful for battle !

"Finding Nemo " Kannae lokks like Dory

Die Forelle / Schubert famous piece

"Die Forelle" (German for "The Trout"), Op. 32, D 550. is a lied, or song, composed in early 1817 for solo voice and piano with music by Austrian composer Franz Schubert (1797–1828). Schubert chose to set the text of a poem by Christian Friedrich Daniel Schubart, first published in the Schwäbischer Musenalmanach in 1783. The full poem tells the story of a trout being caught by a fisherman, but in its final stanza reveals its purpose as a moral piece warning young women to guard against young men. When Schubert set the poem to music, he removed the last verse, which contained the moral, changing the song's focus and enabling it to be sung by male or female singers. Schubert produced six subsequent copies of the work, all with minor variations.

"You who tarry by the golden spring
Of secure youth,
Think still of the trout:
If you see danger, hurry by!
Most of you err only from lack
Of cleverness. Girls, see
Seducers with their tackle!
Or else, too late, you'll bleed."

Classicaloid EP 14 Claskey Klasky Breaks Up, Kanae Makes Her Debut”

One of favorite anime Duos breaks up !

Tchaikovsky is upset that Baranowska is doing a Solo who she calls the "one Hit Wonder " which is true The song even talks about the moon and is covered by some country artists ( See Below )

The very loud annoucement

Kanae goes to Bach's office for advice ( onTchaikovsky) when Bada comes out she us happy about the break-up and wants Kanae for her new partner which sets up more insanity

Oh Idol Training

Actually is an idea by Bach to see what Kanae has to do with Musiq / the Mansion

Meanwhile the Mansion is going downhill .No food / garbarge is piling up ! After Listz takes the last can of beer fromTchaikovsky then turns into a famer planting Pototoes to make Vodka ( Briiliant parody for the Ruusian composer ) but's it illegal in Japan to male your own alcohol

Bada wants to be in the Spotlight

Meanwhile Chopin is trying to Derail Kanae by going online and giving her the name Snapadoll ( a Homage to Hackadoll anime )

Then a surreal showfown with Tchaikovsky and Baranowska ( The Sun )

Another new great ED with the Karoke room!( New Song )

Maiden's Prayer

Bądarzewska wrote about 35 small compositions for piano; by far her most famous composition is the piece Modlitwa dziewicy, Op. 4 ("A Maiden's Prayer", French: La prière d'une vierge), which was published in 1856 in Warsaw, and then as a supplement to the Revue et gazette musicale de Paris in 1859.

In country music

The American musician Bob Wills heard "Maiden's Prayer" played on a fiddle while he was a barber in Roy, New Mexico,[1] and arranged the piece in the Western swing style. Wills first recorded it as an instrumental in 1935 (Vocalion 03924, released in 1938), and it quickly became one of his signature tunes. Later, it became a standard recorded by many country artists, including Buck Owens on his number-one 1965 album I've Got a Tiger By the Tail. The tune is still a standard in the repertoire of Western swing bands.

Wills wrote lyrics for "Maiden's Prayer" and recorded it again in 1941 (Okeh 06205) with vocals by Tommy Duncan. His lyrics reflect the title, and the song, as written by Wills, opens with:

Twilight falls, evening shadows find,
There 'neath the stars, a maiden so fair divine.
The moon on high seemed to see her there.
In her eyes is a light, shining ever so bright,
She whispered a silent prayer.

Relatively few country singers have covered "Maiden's Prayer" with vocals, but they include Ray Price on his tribute album San Antonio Rose (1962) and Willie Nelson on his album Red Headed Stranger (on the 2000 CD reissue but not the 1975 LP).[ Both singers used the lyrics written by Wills with minor variations, e.g. the maiden is an Indian in Price's version. Also the Everly Brothers recorded a rendition of the song in 1973.

Wills recorded the song a third time on the 1963 album Bob Wills Sings and Plays. When he was inducted into the Nashville Songwriters Hall of Fame in 1970, "Maiden's Prayer" was one of the works cited.

That was one hell of a way to present a festival. ClassicaLoid style.

Mozart still never ceases to amuse me whether it's just because of his personality or his silly gags.

Well, this one was quite the episode. Where do i even start?

Before i get to that, let's say: Beethoven is at gyoza again, though short time. Another amusing part i find is how ClassicaLoids gave some advice and such.

And for the main part. Sousuke finally gets some major time here. That first song, it's not that bad. The second song however, oh my god, how hilarious (more about that soon) but how come it can cause pain mystifies me. I hope it's included in the OST.

How come that song is hilarious? I don't know why. Maybe because it plays as ED song and combined with some flashback image including Sousuke, some of them with such amusing faces? Yep, that's it.

Classicaloid EP 16 “Work! Beethes Motes”

Another insane EP that has so many good tropes and laughs.

Kaene is demanding rent from Beethoven / Mozart and when they look at the bill they complain and Kaede says jokingly I could fix the bathroom and if add another zero I could put in a Merlepon ( Statue the shoots water / in a lot of animes ) That actually inspires both th find a job that is a laugh riot.

Kaene / I thinks she is a fun watch

They were in the Yazuka ( so funny as all the jobs )

Space ( You gotta love the manga ) A homage to Plantes ?

A Homage to DRRR ? ( The Park Fights )

Adding to Kaene's angst Chopin taken off on a outdoor journey and just says all kind of bad things about the mansion and Kaede.

If that wasnt enough Liszt gets inspired when she hears about the situation decicdes to make Merlepon herself and is actually good but doesnt like it and starts over with the final masterpiece being censored! ( Watching Kanae / Souske reactions were priceless )

They end up on a Tea Farm where Chopin finds them . They what to stay there but there is a drought but Musiq saves the day but then are let go as it is only seasonal !

Another ED song with the Tea leaves !Chopin i gets the ending theme song!

Merlion / another history lesson and how many anime it's in !

The Merlion (Malay: Singa-Laut) is a well known marketing icon of Singapore depicted as a mythical creature with a lion's head and the body of a fish. It is widely used as a mascot and national personification of Singapore

Other Merlion statues

Due to the influence of overseas Singaporeans, Singapore investors and friends of the country, variations of the Merlion statue can be found in Japan, China and the United States

Well, that was... one heck of episode. Something like Halloween-themed. But it was fun to watch. Especially when some weird stuff started to happen. And, let's not forget: "Fate", Senpai", "Love". But damn, that Hasshie (the bird) is creepy.

This one is almost over. I really hope that this would get more serious. Sure, there has been some, like who created ClassicaLoids. As it draws closer to the end, maybe then there will be more answers? I hope. So far, this has quite amusing to watch.

Took a long time but now it's getting serious. And, Kanae's father makes an appearance, again... and disappears. "Praise me!" Damn, that's one creepy robot.

And Sousuke's song gets played again? Cool, i got to laugh it again. It's not bad, it's funny to listen for some reason.

Episode 20

That was an OK episode for the most part. Lots of pranks by Mozart, unappreciated by everyone else. But that last segment... I find that is what this show does best, turns things upside down. That last segment kinda blew me away. I'm really not a fan of classical music being performed as pop, but they did a fine job, and the lyrics too.

Got a kick out of the last episode. I especially liked that switch to that graffiti influenced look during Schubert's rap rant. Anime has such a "house style", even from different studios, that it is just something to see them push the look like that. The use of limited animation in that sequence was interesting too in giving that paper cut-out look.

Rap set to classical music. Weirdly offbeat. Great stuff and I normally don't care for the stuff. In Japanese the cadence seemed to work well. The lyrics translated to English didn't fit the timing, but humorous nonetheless. Didn't hurt that his rant sort of speaks to me.

Seems like the final few episodes will take a more serious route compared to the previous episodes.
