Episode 1

That was pretty fun to see Poco going all crazy for udon there. Souta has been down in life, but there are those out there who are urging him to open his restaurant again. It turns out that Souta had picked up a tanuki and thus, craziness is about to ensue. Pretty good start to this show.

That was very nice. I enjoyed Sweetness & Lightning this past season and I'm getting some of that vibe here.

Episode 1

This one seems like a fun time that has vibes that resemble shows like Flying Witch or Sweetness & Lightning.

This'll be nice to watch throughout the season!

Episode 1

Well, this was really cute. Poko is such an energetic kid, reminds me a bit of Tsugumi from Sweetness & Lightning.

Souta and Poka shares an interesting relationship so far, like a parent and son. The animation style has a bit of colorful palate to it, might have to get used to that. Otherwise, I think it was a decent start. The theme songs are well crafted.

Three thoughts

One, any of you seen Young Frankenstein? When Victor is having the nightmare about destiny. I was thinking that when everyone was asking him about the restaurant. Here is the clip https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7s110o3XzYU He was born to Udon and now Udon is thrusting upon him.

Two, I think that Shinto Priest knows the score and exactly who the young child is.

Three, this is excellent and looking forward to more. The two little clips at the end were very funny.

Very interesting start. Of COURSE he is going to take over the restaurant now... seems a bit forced but I don't really mind. And he really is a tanuki? Interesting, it's like Eccentric Family meets Amaama...

awwwww, def will be the adorableness of the season. I am in. Hes also someone I can see myself relating to easily, needing time off, witch a change of space. Wish him the best as the series goes, since you can see the missing love from losing both parents.

This may be the sleeper of the fall line-up for me. I never heard anyone talk about this in their "lists" of shows to watch and it was a very pleasant surprise.

Like others have said, it reminds me a bit of Sweetness & Lightning, though I doubt it'll be that cute.

Unless they do something crazy-stupid with it, it's staying in my queue.

So, Takumi grew up and gave up baseball and will now run an udon restaurant?

This was pleasant, and likely will be a soothing thing that I look forward to each week.

He must of had a brain injury too to have that massive personality change.

Well, that was adorable.

Maybe I missed or wasn't paying attention when it mentioned he wanted to play Baseball, but did people not notice his lingering leg injury? I thought that would have been an obvious giveaway on why he gave up Baseball. It also looks like the increasing interest in his family's shop and going through his late parents belongings will be the reason - in addition to Poco.

Definitely this season's dose of cute. Almost got annoying how many characters were beating the MC to take up his father's business, though.

Such a relaxing and chill show. Going to be a good show to end on to wind down from everything else. Also already loving Poco way more than Tsugumi.
