Cheer Danshi
Ajin
Great Teacher Onizuka
Iron Blooded Orphans
Alderamin on the sky
Noucome
Tanaka-kun is always listless

Every single one of these series are underrated for some reason. Also, most of these are on crunchyroll if any of you are interested, Ajin is on netflix, and cheer danshi is on funimation.

Scrapped Princess, really good but a little bit unknown

Totally agree, for those of you who aren't in the know, It's by the same source Writer, The same Director and Studio as Chaika The Coffin Princess. While there are similarities between the 2 series, I thought Scrapped Princess stuck the landing better.

(My avatar is from Scrapped Princess too)

I've been planning to watch it for some time now but it gets delayed every time.

Anyway, i suppose i have to watch it since i've watched Chaika which is also from the same creator as that one. I kinda liked how Chaika ended; a positive ending unlike how it's usually in LN-based series. And... it's from Bones! What could possibly go wrong?

Don't take this the wrong way but this show literally pissed me off. Especially when the main character is perfectly fine with Chocolat being an amnesiac so he doesn't have to make a decision and was directly responsible for her amnesia's relapse. It has some good moments but that scene literally made me hate the mc enough not to care anymore. (and yes I did finish the show)

Kaiba! it's a short 13 episode anime that has a very charming kid's book style, and that deals with the question of identity and personal worth.

Houzuki no Reitetsu - it's a slice of life comedy about a demon who is basically the undersecretary of Japanese hell. Lots of referential humor aimed at adults -- kind of like Gintama in hell. But it does require some prerequisite knowledge of Japanese history and folklore. Also, it's on CR: http://www.crunchyroll.com/hozuki-no-reitetsu

Not sure to say underrated but Kinnikuman is definitely slept on and that's a shame this is the show that pretty much started the whole "Battle Shounen" sub-genre. You'd find likeness of shows Hokuto no Ken, Saint Seiya, Jojo's Bizarre Adventure, and especially Dragon Ball/Z (the king of Shounen).

Though I'd personally recommend the manga over the anime since the anime is rather... slow (in fact, it's almost as bad as DBZ when it comes to dragging out it's fights) but either way, it's a very enjoyable experience for it's creativity, fight scenes, and humor.

This. Even though it's ranked around 8.5 on MAL I feel like it's still criminally underrated. That one specific part in the anime almost made me drop the show but after I managed to get past it SSY became easily one of the best I've seen.

This X2. A great show and I will take every chance to tell more people to watch it.

Chihayafuru is best sports anime

Blue Seed - yes dated (1990s) but its what Inuyasha could have been with a plot and a great ending

If you enjoy Top gearish motorcycle trolling then the 1st half of Bakuon is excellent

Somehow the original FMA has gone from being the most popular anime on earth to being underrated

Blue Seed is great! It's too bad a lot of this kind of anime has slipped the cracks because of changing aspect ratios and HD formats.

People always think of Paprika or Paranoia Agent when they think of Satoshi Kon, but no one ever gives Millenium Actress any credit.
