Series' Finale

The finale is so intense! Fighting in the underground while trying to survive..

Satou also makes his last stand with his Ajin powers. I can see the fear on Kei's face though. Poor Izumi...getting hurt like that looked painful but at least she survivesl. Pretty thrilling episode and imo, quite entertaining way to wrap up the season. Kei tried to overcome his own personal demons as well. I can't help but laugh a little at Satou and his comrade talking while they were captured. (although it looks like he escaped later...)

7/10. Good season. For those who wants more Ajin, the manga continues.

One of Tosaki's men was a ghost ( another AJIN ? )from the raid at Musashi getting revenge for his team and buying Kei some time

Tosaki lets Izumi have her freedom telling where to find documents / key to her existence as an Ajin since he is wounded quite badly

Sato ready to cut off Kei's head ( one of an Ajin's few weaknees ) ans let him watch kiil everybody

But all of Kei's IBM's he has used come out ( using Kei's quotes ) and gives Sato his worst beating ever but the IBM fade and he regenerates but the US TEAM arrive and render him with Tranqs and take him away

Izumi knows about the "Flood " a very very rare Ajin capabilty

Tosaki arrives and with his deal with Sokabe Kei and his group are given immunity ! And The Japan Govt give Ajin freedom / Izumi is declared a human / and Tosaki wants Sokabe to erase his crimes !

Okuyama and the others helping Kei / Tosaki get jail but was worth it to escape Sato and seeing Ajin given rights

A tease / glimpse into what went wrong with Sato as Special OPS

Sato had a bomb planted inside him Reset please ! XD Sato ome of the best villans ever IMO

A glimpse of more ??

Ogura / the Okuyama trio in ( Stripes ) / Tosaki / Nakano / Izumi / Unknown ( GOVT official / Sokabe

I have watched a lot of anime and I agree with you for ( 2016 ) For myself Sato would be in My All Time Top 5 / 10 ! Literally I was stunned each week and that ending ,.

He may not be the most powerful / universal destruction type of Villan but on a close / one on one and just his mental state 9 goals 0 put him up there !

5/5 series for me. Sato is on par with Shougo Makishima(Psycho Pass) for most intelligent and ruthless villain I've ever seen depicted in anime. You really get the feeling that underneath his desire for 'fun' he really wants to exterminate the human race.

Also during the first AASF battle one of the soldiers seems to think that Sato is ex-military. How else does he have all those killer fight moves?

So did satou lie when he said he can kill other ajin's by cutting their heads off? I remember he told nagai ajins can die when they get their head cut off it's not actually dying because their heads grow back but the key point was that the new head may not have the same memories as the original. Which is why he said to nagai ill cut ur head off and make you watch the new one grow. In the last episode satou got his head decapitated but when his head grew back he was the same person. Why, did he lie about the claim he made?

That was a great season . Yes, of course, the animation could have been better but I don't care about that when the story is that thrilling .
And it goes without saying that Sato is one of my all-time favourite villains .

He asked him if the brain is actually his when a new one is regenerated which means this isn't about becoming a different person, it's about the question if it's still you when your original brain is dead. It's especially frightening because you see how your head gets replaced .

another thing also. as soon as satau's head went off he died before he saw his head regenerate. So the claim he made about letting nagai watch would have been false also. right?

His head already regenerated when he closed his eyes. It's just hard to see because of the black stuff and Sato's blurry vision.

Enjoyed season 2 a lot more than season 1. Season 1 had an interesting concept but kind of felt like it wasn't quite sure what to do with it. After season 2, season 1 feels like they were just trying to get it out of the way to Get To The Good Part(tm).

When it reintroduced Kaito and Kei's little sister it took me a moment to remember who they were. >.>
