So it's time for a bit of a silly conversation.

A couple of weeks ago, i was talking to a couple of work colleagues about the spelling of stuff and how sometimes spelling is pretty hard. I easily took the crown of worst spelling mistake ever, having once typed "Mt Sleppigna" instead of "my spelling"

Therefore, I now feel like throwing the joke conversation out there - what's been the worst spelling mistake ever? Was is just doing "go" instead of "to"? Or was it something much sillier?

And don't worry, I proofread this 3 times so if there are any mistakes well shieeeeeeeee

It's not a spelling error, but a typo.

I wrote a letter at work to a Mrs Whitehead. Look at the keys round W and guess what I called her. Whoops, butterfingers.

I remember in fourth grade we had a spelling bee. I wanted to do better than the guy I was crushing on because he aced everything and I was envious. When it was my turn I spelled Chief as Chef.

I cried.

Spelling bee was fun! I only made it to top 10 in my school district...
Although, I can say that speeding is much easy since we have smartphones...

Assuming I knew the correct way to spell "segue" and thinking it was synonymous with the mode of transportation, got a few amusing reactions from some people. lol

It makes me sick when people don't understand the difference between:

There, Their, They're
To, Too, Two
Allowed, Aloud
Effect, Affect
Great, Grate
You're, Your
It's, Its

"You're, Your" seems to trigger plenty of people i try to read back each post but sometimes the odd boo boo slips by unnoticed.

And Loose/Lose does not trigger my 12-state-shooting-spree reflex so much as the idea that "Santa Clause" is a Tim Allen character from a Disney movie.

If you directly affect the situation, it tends to have a lasting effect.
