There's no option to murder people. That's my usual response toward marijuana.

I think this topic doesn't belong in politics and should remain up to a doctor on whether or not someone should be using it.

I think it should be legal, but that people can be brought in/fined/prosecuted for public intoxication, driving "high," and the like. Much like how drinking is treated, really.

I'm all for it. If something as damaging as Alcohol is able to be legal, something which is much less damaging ought to be able to be taxed and regulated for sale as well. And don't even get me started on how terrible as well as addictive smoking Tobacco and Nicotine can be...

Tax and regulate it, much the way alcohol is.

If you choose to smoke it is your personal issue, personally i don't care. Just tax and profit off it, no different the prescription drugs that have higher chance of killing you. Also add DUI laws for legal marijuana use and I'd say I would move up in the world for taking place of pot heads currently employ.

Provided the appropriate regulatory infrastructure is put into place and the population is made aware of the potential risks associated with recreational use I see no reason why not. That's particularly true considering the intended use for tax revenue generated by recreational marijuana. Honestly, there's a lot to be gained by having legitimate, licensed vendors. You can drive the price per unit down, you can ensure product safety and quality, you can alleviate an enormous burden on the criminal justice and penal systems, there are upsides here.

Also, schedule the damned drug properly, please.

i look at it this way, what you put in your body is your business but nobody likes to deal with a stoned person. if you are of age and choose to risk it then good for you but please don"t make it anyone else"s problem, don"t drive or use machines when stoned. Now as a parent i say no and i dont smoke, but as an american i say that your choice is your problem, don"t make it mine to suffer. and don"t forget to support your local bakeries

legalize it, tax it call it a day already. I personally hate drugs and smoking, but marijuana is not killing people and cigarettes and alcohol in excess can be just as bad, if not worse.
