This is really bugging me and I have no idea how to fix this. I didn't do anything and my font in the Video Player looks kinda fuzzy

Also the time stamp on the videos are fuzzy too (It's not just this series, it's all of them and this literally just started happening today)

I can confirm that I'm having the same problem with how fonts are displayed in the video player

The subtitle and timestamp fonts are aliased, while they were anti-aliased before today.
Also, even though this is unrelated to the font situation I want to note that my volume and autoplay settings for videos were reset when I came online, as autoplay was turned back on for me and the volume was lowered to 3 notches.

Sounds like your cookie was reset or deleted... did you have to re-login recently?

Same issue here, on both Chrome (with built-in Flash) and Firefox (with add-on Flash). It was fine yesterday, why the change?

EDIT: On Firefox the aliasing is a bit less noticeable, but I can definitely see it's there.

My browser settings are so that third-party cookies are blocked, and this site does make me relogin every two weeks but this is the first time i can remember my autoplay and volume settings being reset.

As an update on my own experience with the aliased font problem, I also want to note that both Google Chrome and Flash had updates recently, which could be related to this. I'm using the latest versions of both and the fonts are still aliased in the video player.

This was caused by this week's Chrome update, not by us.

I'm having the exact same issue. It's really annoying to read those texts. I'm running Chrome version 54.0.2840.59 beta-m (64-bit). Does anyone have this issue with the stable release. I might have to switch back, if this isn't fixed.

Edit: Chrome canary build fixes it. It seems that the issue is due to the recent Windows 10 update and not the browser, as it's present in Edge too.

Really? The same problem is present in Firefox and Microsoft Edge, and also on Chrome before the update to version 54, so obviously the fault is in the Chrome update

We haven't changed anything though. It appeared for me after updating to the latest Chrome version. It was not present before. Firefox looks same as always here. Though I never use the latter for Crunchyroll streaming.

Like Subnorman pointed out above, the same problem seems to affect Firefox too, but to a lesser extent. The font is clearly aliased, but not as badly as compared to Chrome. It's more evident when the font is in cursive, but it is visible on normal font.

Like I said, I noticed this problem this morning, with a laptop running the new Chrome version 54. Afterwards I tried with a desktop still running version 53 from August, and the same problem occured. It's a bit hard to see on the screenshots as the forum seems to downscale the images, but when watching on video or on fullsize screenshots, it's more distracting.

EDIT: Allright, here are the fullsize screenshots https://postimg.org/gallery/226rppufa/
