I'm really only interested in the modern warfare remake, but I don't want to pay $70 to get the deluxe edition for that.

I don't plan on getting the game atm however once my friends end up getting it I'll probably get it myself.
Play for a week then quit and never touch it again like I did bo2.

Ah yes, Call of Duty Gundam- I mean Infinite Warfare. Where the Earth Federa- I mean the United Nations Space Command, goes up against the Principality of Ze- Settlement Defence Front.

I'm sure not getting it. I don't intend to indulge Treyarch and Infinity Ward's never ending competition to see who can make the franchise even more science-fiction and future-like. No thank you good sir, it'll be Battlefield 1 all the way for me if I decide to get any of the big FPS games.

The people that complain about call of duty but pre ordered stuff like Mafia 3 and think No mans's skies was a good game baffle the sh1t out of me...

I pre ordered it because i knows what call of duty games are like and they aren't lying in there ads or lying. I have the $99 version (forget what it's called ) with the Season pass and Modern warfare remastered also.

Last three call of duty games you mean? That would be Black ops 2, Mw2, and World at war. I've also played every other game between modern warfare and Black ops 3 (except for advanced warfare) but I didn't purchase those myself. I've also played most of the WW2 COD games. So I'm actually quite familiar with the franchise and it's way of doing things if that's what you're getting at.

Just so we're clear, I don't inherently hate the COD franchise or its most recent installments (even if the insults I made do sound fairly malicious). I actually enjoyed the first two modern warfare and first two black ops games. It's just that these attempts to make each new installment even more futuristic than the next just don't have the same wow factor for me anymore.

I can't say I am super excited for it or anything but I am looking forward to it over Black Ops 3 just for a chance at better servers. I'm so tired of being put into a game completely by myself or separated from someone I am grouped with just because they can't get things fixed. So I grabbed the $100 Xbox version long ago. I do feel that Xbox got screwed when it comes to the beta. Playstation beta isn't long enough IMO either but only 4 days for Xbox? No real point in even having it.

I love space combat, and the E3 footage looked good.
Might pick it up if the reviews are mostly positive.

I reserved judgement of Infinite Warfare until the beta came out. I didn't hop on the silly hate train when it was first announced. I played the beta last Friday and I can finally give my honest opinion on the game. Before I get into it here is my preference on COD as a whole:
1. Boots-on-ground (the term I guess everyone uses nowadays)
2. Modern or WW era
3. I was one of those people who was happy with where COD was before Advanced Warfare came along... In other words I didn't want change, I didn't complain that every COD was same thing over and over.

As for the beta, apparently the game is in "gold" status according to Infinity Ward twitter. "Gold" means the game is absolutely ready for launch and to be sold at retail stores and digitally. This makes me believe that the beta is the ACTUAL game, it is what you are going to be playing when it launches in November.

So now about the beta, excuse me, the game itself:
1. Horrible beta launch, perhaps one of the worst. There was a scheduled PSN maintenance that day and the fact that the beta opens on that day shows that Activision has poor planning. On top of that, once maintenance was finished people nationwide were experiencing issues with matchmaking and took forever to find a working server.
2. I don't care if millions of other people have said it, but this is literally a carbon copy of Black Ops 3. Specialist, perks, pick 10 system, Treyarch score streaks instead of Infinity Ward kill/pointstreaks and 3d movement system. I was never a fan of the specialists in BO3 because it gave unskilled players extra edge over skilled players; I'm not a fan of the pick 10 system or score streaks; never was a fan of the 3d movement system ever since Advanced Warfare. The lethals/tacticals are annoying and complicated, why can't we just have the usual frag, semtex, concussion, flashbang and smoke?
3. Supply drops are back and the disgusting weapon variants from Advanced Warfare are back as well. Weapon variants are what made so many people hate Advanced Warfare, it became pay to win. For the supply drops, sure Infinite Warfare beta didn't charge for the supply drops but cmon guys, this is Activision we're talking about, what makes y'all think they won't start charging people for supply drops?

Overall I'm just extremely disappointed and I don't think I'm gonna even play IW once. The only reason why I unfortunately got suckered into get the legacy edition is because of Modern Warfare Remastered. Even to this day it still sickens me that they had to bundle one of the most beloved games of all time to inflate sales for Infinite Warfare.

Who will sell more, BF1 or IW? Honestly I don't know. I would've said IW because it's COD but with the amount disappointment it's getting BF1 might sell more. But let's not forget guys, EA has a bad track record for upsetting it's consumers and because of it I'm holding off on BF1 for time being. The BF1 beta was disappointing to me and I'm just going wait until I see and hear reviews of it.
