Yes-Yes, I know the season just started and all, but as it continues, there will surely be a series that becomes a hidden gem amongst the gems or garbage of this fall!

With that being said, if there are some shows that you know will end up being gems, post the series and why if you want to.

As for me, I'm gonna go with Girlish Number. It looked like a typical moe show about idols and seiyu's, but the first episode proved otherwise!

I like that pic of Poco's Udon World I'll go with that.

Flip Flappers, Classicaloids, and Girlish Number are all hidden gems. There are better shows this season (March Comes in Like a Lion, Haiku S3, Hibike! Euponium S2, Poco's Udon Word) but they're not hdden gems.

Absolutely Flip Flappers. If you aren't watching, giving this one a shot. It's so energetic but its' hiding some subtle undertones... The mood reminds me a lot about Humanity Has Declined but with crazy-ass trigger animation sequences and a beautifully dynamic style.

The other is Girlish Number. Full of biting humor from smug voice actresses and a probing view on the anime industry (when maybe the studio isn't a standout like in Shirobako). Written by the same writer as SNAFU, I'd say this is probably the funniest show of the season atm.

flip flapper and Girlish numbers need more love and Tiger Mask W. That show such an 80's feel to and the end song is great.

Girlish Number - Only watched the first episode but so far it's really good. A bit of nice biting commentary on the anime industry and a very likable cast.

Keijo - Not that people don't know about it but given all of the crap it's got for being nothing but fan-service I think a lot of people are probably avoiding it because it looks like "one of those" shows. It's really just an absurd and committed sports show/comedy/parody that is so over the top and silly you'd actually be hard pressed to find any of it sexy or arousing. It's really a bit like Shimoneta.

Yuri On Ice - oh wait, no, that's the most popular thing. (inb4 someone says it must be ignored just because it's good, yeah, no, it's getting the attention it deserves.

Sword boys isn't, really (here, at least - it's been the most popular thing in Japan for a while). But it's such a specific taste, I think.

I have to check out Classicaloid. I hope it gets people into classical music... except I don't know how much opera there is in it.

For now I'd say Flip Flappers. It's one of those shows that even if the story is really not that great in the end, it's still worth checking out just for the animation which is outstanding. There seems to be quite a bit of backstory to the show, but they haven't bothered explaning it yet, so for now it's just a show about two girls going on random adventures that don't make any sense, but it's still really entertaining and worth watching.

If anybody wants to watch a magical girl show this season, I'd suggest skipping Magical Girl Raising Project which is trying way too hard to be Madoka and go with Flip Flappers instead.
